How is the announcer this calm about the 7th fastest 400m time in history? The kid is NINETEEN!
@kevinkasp9 ай бұрын
Because two weeks ago the announcer (former Olympian Dwight Stone) watched him break the World Record. Dwight Stone dropped all kinds of praise on him two weeks ago, as the performance was as shocking as it was phenomenal. And the other announcer started talking about the Olympics this August. So, today it was just him proving it was no fluke.

@@kevinkaspalso I believe the world record was disqualified as a wr due to the way the meet was run or something weird like that, another reason he said that it proved he’s legit

I'm not sure a world record would get him to get I to a proper sportscaster mode.

As his body matures and his coaches coach him up that unique form will improve and he will go faster outdoors.

I remember when Auhman Robinsonn split 43.45 on the 4x400 anchor leg for Stephen F Austin in 2021 NCAA track and field championship.

I’m so glad for the Georgia runner!! I should know his name. I’ll root for him every time after getting cheated out of the world record!

I think I'm actually most impressed by Auhmad Robinson. I remember him dropping a 43.45 anchor split on the 4x4 a few years back, and now the indoor 44.91 to sort of back that up is really cool. Almost thought he'd overtake CMW but that kid has got crazy speed endurance. 21 flat and then gutting out a 23.6 split. Nuts

Dwight Stone was probably basing that on the fact that the kid from A&M was right on him. An inadvertent slight to CMW yet a shot out to the Kid from A&M who ran with CMW. They both were blazing the 200 but CMW had greater 1st twitch the first 200 and that differential was all that mattered from that point as the decline for both wasn't a linear degradation; just superb sprinting from both this early.

That 44.67 proves that Morales is the "real thing". His 44.50 wasn't a one time fluke. Congratulations Christopher!

When I watch Christopher Morales run he reminds a lot of Wayde Van Niekerk. One thing I realized is that his form never breaks down he keeps himself strong the whole race which is rare in the 400m dash. I hope the best for him in the future. Very amazing runner with tremendous potential ✨🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 his form is natural and unique. It’s amazing to watch how he is able to speed up in the last 100 of the 400m which means he has excellent speed reserve. Very much like Wayde Van Neikerk did when he broke the world record a while back. Definitely has extreme potential to do more amazing things I hope much success for him 🙏🏽
