4×4 looks great. This would be something else for Quincy Wilson. And it's a huge joy to see Anna Hall kissing her medal for 3 seconds. I will cross my fingers every minute so none of these great athletes injures him/herself. Anna went through a lot. ❤

Gone are the times of Micheal Johnson when all finals were sub 44. USA 400m standard have declined for some time. Micheal Norman has missed lots of competitions now he is struggling to run under 44

yeah thats somewhat true. the difference though now is there are many more running fast. in the semis here, 9 athletes ran sub 45. one athlete who ran sub 45 didnt even qualify for the final. 8th place in this final ran a 45.1...so whilst the winners arent going as fast, the entire field is much quicker.

@@timn4481 Norman even ran semi above 45 though he was first. Bottom line is if u see Olympic races many athletes are running between 44 to 44.98 but for Gold n Silver mostly it is Sub 44 but now running under 44 is becoming hard on athletes. If u ever followed Michael Johnson that monster has run most semis under 44 and finals off course under 44. I miss him for 12 years he was the most feared and celebrated in 400m

@@timn4481 if u see history lots of guys run sub 45 but the thing but guys who run under 44 is though rare get medals until finals r run slow

Well looks like something special is coming down the lanes. Could possibly see a sub 43 senior High School senior and Gold medalist as a Sophomore in College if he goes that route. QW
