The 400m hurdles race in Doha could be one of the greatest races of all time with Samba, Warholm and Benjamin. If the world record isnt going in Doha it will never be broken, unless they are waiting for Tokyo 2020.

@@alphaomega1459 but the key is that he ran that mostly alone. If you get all of them in good shape, Warholm (47.1) Benjamin (47.0) and Samba (46.9) they will push each other faster

Norwegian Karsten Warholm is an athlete who will break Kevin Young's world record (46.78 s) as he has the second world record (46.92 s) and is very young and in progress. It won't take long to beat it.

The hardest thing to do is take that last hurdle cleanly. Your brain is on fire with wanting that finish line first, but you’ve got to remember, in that instant, that it’s a hurdle race; being a close finish ups the difficulty factor significantly. Been there many a time and lost many a time focused on the prize, not the process.

To be fair, Warholm grew up in this type of weather (only a lot colder), so that was an advantage 🙂
