Great race by Dylan and Casey. Both had great kicks at the end. Looking forward to their match up in the 3K.

And to follow up with this, it’s also so important because (at least from my experience) the indoor 5k is way harder than the outdoor 5k so I can imagine that altitude plus indoor track running was crazy hard on some of those athletes

Casey doesn't get the credit he deserves. He is definitely one of the top ten runners in the country today. It just seems commentators never talk about him as much as they do with others.
@Foration3 Жыл бұрын
He's 24 years old, that's pretty old for being in college, and compare it to the other runners who are both younger, have faster times, and better achievements. He's been in college for 7 years now and this is his highest placement, that's not very impressive to me. There's nothing wrong with it, but I personally think it's kind of cheesy for NCAA athletes to do that. Casey will get the credit he deserves when he shows it.

Well done Jacobs!!! I noticed one of the lapped runners using common sense by running in the outer (second) lane towards the finish line so they wouldn't interfere with the progression of the leading runners of the race. Why can't the NCAA utilize common sense and implement a simple rule for lapped runners to run in the second lane? It's not rocket science were dealing with here. Geesh.

@@baumsquad222 so, Covid was one year. You can redshirt, redo a season due to injury. I believe you get four years of eligibility. I thought your comment was about them still being in college. I didn't see where you said still competing. If you enter college at age 18 you typically will be done by age 22 if you have all the required credits. If your short credits you be a bit older. Then if you go to grad school it is longer or med school. Typically by then you have used up eligibility.
