A winning time of nearly 14:00…I hope Young and Sahlman learn from this something they should’ve already known: when you’re the fastest and most talented, allowing a championship race to be run at a slow pace only gives more runners the chance to beat you. I continue to shake my head of the stupidity of “tactical” racing. I think Centrowitz’s gold medal taught the world’s best that lesson, and it’s been a long time since the it’s been allowed to happen on the world stage.
@isitrachelorj39537 ай бұрын
Typical conference/ncaa TITLE race. Bunch of runners jog around the track for 75% of the race distance, then a few racers try to out-kick each other - must be a lot of pressure from the schools/coaches to be a NCAA champion.
