This course is terrible. It's all quarter pipes. No walls, no spine, transfers aren't possible. Been watching XGames since its birth and it's getting bad. Talent is amazing but the courses are getting horrible. These guys are very limited with creativity on a course like this. It's a shame

@Mcfc2Rich A lot of people who watch this have the same opinion. Just read some more comments. It's criticism, not negativity. We are disappointed at the lack of course and we are simply letting XGames know on their YT channel. Whether they care or not is another thing. I'm sure they don't but that doesn't mean we can't share opinions. I could say the same about your comment. Why not just let people have their opinions and not tell them what to do? If you don't like something, you have no problem expressing that, so why can't I?

its so unfair for josh dove to compete against dudes doing cash rolls and 540 flairs. Some of the tricks he is doing are significantly more difficult based off the height and cleanness of how he is performing. Seriously underrated rider.

There's contests that focus on style (Battle of Hastings, Simple Session) and then some that focus on tricks (Olympics, XGames). I love it all, and don't mind that the contests are judged differently.

The olympics and now the Xgames are becoming sooo boring, and extremely fast! That's not a 'park' course, it's a gigantic bowl. Unimaginative and repetitive, it just goes to show why BOH is, by a billion Kms/miles away, the best BMX event nowadays. It has quarters and jumps, of course, but also wallrides, spines, gaps, transfers, ramps on top of ramps, a very creative street section, and also well conected to the 'park' section... in short, it allows riders to be very creative. But the olympics, and now the Xgames, all a rider can do is aerials and a jump here and there. I have more fun playing old BMX video games...

xgames should return to brazil, with a better crowd, make this a big extreme sports party, not a compromise only ... thats i look on japan crowd, and i apologize to say that... they have cold blood for this ... xgames need to rebuild it to keep being the biggest party for extreme sports

BMX judges need to stop rewarding flairs, tailwhip, and barspin variations so much. BMX park competitions have become so boring to watch and creativity in it is dying with everything looking so alike. What happened to lip tricks like the midschool days and why does hardly anyone have pegs on their bikes? Skateboarders on the same course have a much wider variety of tricks being done and have more use of all the features this park has to offer. Start rewarding creativity heavily and bring back the golden age of BMX or it's going to die yet again.

Bro literally hate watching the same 3 tricks that's why I watched street riders half the time so much creativity compared to this I understand it's hard and looks cool but when every rider is legit doing the same thing so boring

I have the same feeling, although these tricks are pretty hard, it's so boring to see these big park competitions nowadays. Much of the same, there's almost no style and kinda doesn't flow well. I was happy to see Dove in this, he stands out in this pasteurized mix of riders...

X Games Japan is such a step down compared to Ventura, the courses are poorly designed (even the riders and commentators are saying so) and little to no hype from the crowd

Maybe it's me, but i watch so many flair variations, one footed, 540, etc. and none of them have a flair in them. The very first run, had a 540 flair, but when you watch it, it's only very slightly corked, there is no flair in there. This has been happening for the last few years, do a 540 air, lean slightly to the side, and it's a 540 flair, the same thing for Cash rolls, most of them now, are just 360's while slightly leaning to one side, like a 360 with a very slight tabletop in it, it's kinda lame TBH.

I agree with you, but if you look again, I think what you mean to say is 540 flair these days is basically a 900 slightly crooked. I also agree about the cash roll, most are just 720’s slightly crooked.

As long as you invite such riders to the bmx park, it will be the most boring event of the century. there is no individuality or creativity. It's probably cool to look at dudes who don't understand anything except paralon and rubber in their lives. but the main problem is with the judges, they appreciate it very much.👎👎👎
