I don't understand why people keep trying to answer questions like this. Individuals want different things, regardless of gender/sex, and it's impossible to know what everyone wants. The fact that people even ask this question in the first place, is a sign that they've been given a wide variety of answers, so obviously my point is somewhat valid.

no....if what you were saying were true, then there wouldn't be so many single mothers and broken families. If what you were saying were true, then we wouldn't have a huge number of women falling for either bad boys or players. That's! what makes it so hard to understand, women say they want "respect and partnership," but what they say doesn't match their actions.

It doesn't matter what women want because it's always changing. You just have to adapt and you also have to never be into them more than they are into you. When that happens they get bored. You always should have side pieces either openly or secretly. Putting girls in a state of competing for your attention makes them desire you.

***** Open and polyamorous relationships are becoming pretty common and sometimes it's the women initiating them. I've even been approached by a women with a boyfriend with a low sex drive. He gave her permission to seek sex elsewhere but still be with him. She said it made her relationship with her man stronger. There are plenty of married women who know their husbands cheat but stay in the relationship because they are provided for and like having the family together. They just tell their husbands they don't want to hear about it.

***** I think some can emotionally deal with it, because a lot of the time the man still has a loyalty to her overall. All his resources go to her and her children. There's a reverse story of this where a feminist told her husband by not getting to sleep with other men, she's being oppressed. So him being a male feminist went along with it. They were both allowed to sleep with other people but she as a women had more options. I felt bad for the dude, but again he liked her more than she liked him, so he set himself up for this. So man or woman it comes down to what you are willing to put up with. He would rather stay than up the risk at losing her.

***** Yes ideally everyone wants that. But living in LA, I've witnessed so much hypergamy (trading up) from both genders that I came to the conclusion that if people are tempted enough or if their circumstances in their relationship are not perfect people we'll want to explore. Seriously read the book "Sex at Dawn". It talks about how there is proof humans aren't really monogamous. Look, even in polyamorous relationships they have what is called a primary. So no matter how many people you like, there's always the ultimate one. As long as you're the one they like the most, you'll get the lasting love. Keep in mind this is not too discourage you. I'm a bit of an out of the box thinker, so I see open relationships as the future and a solution to the divorce rate. My parents have been together over 40 years. My Mom and my sister suspected at some point my Dad may have cheated but they never could verify it. At the end of the day being around my parents reminds me of the lasting love that you can have. But they're from the old school before feminism. I'm not hating on feminism, but it changed the entire game, as well as online dating.
