You are correct that’s what it means. It doesn’t mean a men don’t matter. It is aimed and implied for women to focus on being mentally, physically, and financially healthy prior to entering a relationship. If that means she focuses on therapy, gyms, and financial classes not sure where the problem lies. I know plenty of men that have done the same exact thing and gone without sex. It just what some people need to do. I personally think people should date til they have a solid understanding of self, finances, emotions, and understand healthy relationships. We have a lot of trauma bonding across the board in the black community. So much so people think it’s normal and it’s not.
