Yes, it is said that marriage is a “good thing” but for those who choose not to have family,it is considered a gift from God too. Any Christian who tells you different, is fair weather. There are additional skills and abilities that make people great at what they do besides the anatomical aspect. Parenthood is no exception. I think the world would be a much better place, if everyone were this honest with themselves. There's a lot of people that have zero business having kids, or being married. Having kids is a wonderful thing, but it must be done in a good, stable environment, with a great spouse. I don't think people should be shamed for not wanting children, especially women. Just like how not every man is cut out to be a father, or husband, not every woman is cut out to be a mother, or is wife material. A lot of people rush into things, trying to beat societies expectations, and end up in a world of hurt, an misery beyond their wildest comprehension. Okay, let me just say this I am a black woman and I have (SPD) now of y'all don't know what that is that schizoid personality disorder when a person would rather be alone and not even be in a relationship or have kids. I have never seen a doctor to get tested to see if I have spd or to see if I am a hermit. A hermit is someone who enjoys being alone, not have any kids, work from home, don't have a relationship not even with close family members. I think I am all that, but some hermits are in a relationship and sometimes I get bored and want a man a husband and maybe a kid. I am a writer so I spend most time in my characters world more than my own world. I live in my stories more than real life. She is a hermit or she either has schizoid personality disorder when a person is aloof and stand offish. When they have a friend they will drop that friend in a heartbeat just as they ask to be your friend they will drop you quick of tou make them mad or step on there toes that's how I am. But I still want a man and a husband, some hermits are in a relationship but most of them not. I think black people we don't know anything about people being a hermit we need to keep learning. The thing is that at end of the day you can’t exactly make or predict how someone will lead their life and if they are going to grow beyond their early life foundation. In my case, i’m 25/male, I find it super difficult to open up to just people in general with my affection because I come from a single parent household, so I find it almost taboo to show love to someone. It’s not like I don’t want it but I feel like I always default to loving myself because that’s my pattern. So if this woman says she wants to grow herself first she better be really reallly careful about how that will affect her later years. I think you should always at least pursue it but at the end of the day when you come out and claim that it’s an issue for others it’s you projecting.

Look at how she is and her mindset, if a man of her type and preference showed up would he even choose her? People with this mindset shouldn't have kids, but you shouldn't have this mindset. It's the mindset of a child that doesn't want to grow up. No man or woman is an island. This idea that you can be fine by yourself is cool when everything in life is going good. But what happens when things arent going good? Feeling okay with being alone could all go away when a disaster hits, personal, or large scale...if you get sick, lonely, old, etc., then what? We're all humans. We only got as far as we got because of community. Quentin has a goofy redpill take. A world without women would be boring. Part of why men do a lot of what we do and become who we are is because of women. I dont need them to go cave diving to save me, or set some concrete. That's not their purpose.

The Bible even says that some people are called to singleness. It’s actually considered a blessing. I’m not saying that this woman is the case, I’m just speaking on biblical terms, since a lot of people look at it as “being alone” everyone doesn’t have that gift to endure being single or childless.

the problem with these women is that they have kids later on in life anyway. They eventually need a man to provide and try to run a hail Mary with the same selfish mindset. If these women stayed off the dating market completely it would be good for everyone but they never do. Ask these same women that say 'I don't wanna have to worry about another person" if they believe in 50/50 and the answers are hilarious. My parents were married for 59 years and I never met my forever, so I am months away from being 58 and I’ve never been married and I don’t have any kids because of the example my parents set! How many stay together without issues? We just have to figure out what we are are willing to deal w. I don’t mind a woman being that kind of woman when it come to kids, if she TRULY believes that. What kinna worries me, is the women who spill that, verbally, but REALLY don’t feel like that, deep down. They havent felt what they “think” they should about kids, therefore allowing themselves to dismiss the idea by their early 20’s. Think of how many times these women say “I still have to find myself” @ 29-30. They’ve been indoctrinated into thinking they either shouldnt want kids or want kids way too late

I said the EXACT same thing with Kevin Samuels. He wasn't wrong on a micro perspective because women can't survive without men outside of reproduction and procreation of course. But on a MACRO LEVEL that whole Gender War competitive thing was completely hypothetical, non productive and complete fantasy. Of course a fish is not a bird or horse or lion or butterfly but being different or weaker or stronger is not a bad or horrible thing. Stop trying to COMPETE with a bird or fish and UTILIZE their uniqueness and diversity for an actual PRODUCTIVE PURPOSE to achieve compatibility instead of animosity or a "War" of any type. The purpose of a competitive "War" is to actually WIN that war. War and competition have to have a PURPOSE or objective or end goal. So women do indeed serve a PRODUCTIVE PURPOSE as well as an AESTHETIC ENJOYABLE purpose or EFFECT outside of just pure mundane utility. The Gender War never made sense to me and was a counter productive exercise in futility. And to quote KS he DID SAY that we NEEDED each other at the end of the day. Successful teamwork requires COOPERATION and not Warfare or a competitive rivalry.

There is a lot of sacrifice when being a parent and spouse, but the reward for me is greater. For some people, the reward is not greater and many love their freedom. A lot is given up even if temporarily like traveling when you have kids. I remember watching a YT video sometime back about this. I have told my husband that if God forbid anything happened to him, I wouldn’t get married again. It’s bc I want to do what I want to do and when I want to do it. Our marriage is great, but there is a lot of compromising and bc of his job we don’t get to travel as much. Also, my husband is the spender and I’m the saver/investor so we constantly compromise with this.
