Thanks so much for the shout out! ❤️ You guys did so good! Gluten free bread is super bouncy and dense. Come on over to my house and you wouldn't tell a difference that food is gluten free. 😉 You should do a part two in the future!

i'd love to see a part two of them trying the same product with different gluten-free substitutes. Like pancakes with almond flour, a flour mix with xanthan gum, a flour mix with bean flours, a flour mix with arrowroot and rice flours, etc. I think it would be interesting to see if they can tell a difference between the flavors. i can! :)

@@joangeluz Heck, I had some lemonade and my friend was eating an ice cream with fudge bits that had gluten. She drank from my straw and just her spit caused my stomach to instantly bloat and I got a headache and began lashing out from pain. I have to wait 4 hours after someone ate gluten to share their spit or any bodily liquid, and I need used dishes to be cleaned with at least hot water and scrubbed down before use.

@ellyclaire1996

변에리 I always make gluten free pizza crust but don’t tell anyone that it’s gluten free and I people ask me for my crust recipe because it tastes like takeout. It’s my own recipe that took years to prefect and it doesn’t have this dissolving texture that they complain about in this video. Also there’s a Canadian company (Little Northern Bakehouse) that makes gluten free bread that has the same texture as regular bread. I can’t choke down any other gluten free bread (unless it’s toasted, that helps) I also make gluten free cream puffs that taste identical, they just don’t puff up as high, but I was thinking that next time I might try adding some baking powder. But other than that I use just a regular cream puff recipe and substitute the flour with 50% glutinous rice flour (which is made from sticky rice/sushi rice and doesn’t contain any gluten) and 50% of any other gluten free flour. White rice flour makes it taste like regular cream puffs, but any flour works and some flour mixes puff up better. It’s usually a bit too runny so I add a little more flour after cooking it on the stove top, till I reach the desired consistency, and this would be the step where I was thinking to add the baking powder, just so it the heat doesn’t activate the baking powder before sticking it in the oven. My pizza crust also uses glutenous rice flour (AKA sweet rice flour). You have to cook a small portion of it so it becomes like mochi and then thoroughly knead it into the rest of the dough. The dough feels exactly like play dough and needs to be pressed into the pan, and for best results, it needs to be pre-baked for about 10 mins. I use the same recipe for cinnamon rolls, but they don’t turn out as well as regular cinnamon rolls because they don’t puff up as much and they’re too crispy (the pizza crust is like a crispy, thin crust pizza... not what you’re looking for in a cinnamon roll, but better than nothing)

So glad to see you guys try gluten free foods! Most people do not realize what us celiacs go through on a daily basis, reading every label, being an annoying customer at restaurants(when we actually try to go out). I have tried a lot of different breads and it is hard to find good bread that doesn't have that after taste :/

Shape squadddd!! My sister has, Celiac. It’s only hard for her with family get togethers. It’s a completely different thing then a diet. A diet is optional, but when gluten makes you feel sick and drowsy, and so bloated you look pregnant, you’d understand how different it is.

One of my daughters cooks at her church on a Monday evening and they have a couple of children and adults who can only eat gluten free. She does the shopping for the food and she said there is so many products that are gluten free it makes her job easy. I can’t tell the difference with some of the products. Enjoyed this segment very much.😊💕

I have been gluten free for years and I found out that gluten free brownies are way better than the average gluten filled brownies. All my friends have tested it and they say the same! I would love to see you guys do another gluten free vs. gluten episode and for you guys to add brownies!

Cam. Kraft Blue Box “Thick and Creamy”. I promise you I feel you on the shapes. The thick and creamy is like shapes quality sauce ratio but with elbow noodles.

Celiac Folks: A good recipe that tastes delicious is Chicken and Waffles. You go to Kroger (Ralph’s in some areas) and get the traditional gluten free bread crumbs. then you take it and put egg on the chicken, coat it and then egg it again and coat it again. You put that in the oven at 400° and for 20 minutes ish or until it’s cooked. Then you go to Trader Joe’s and get the waffle/pancake mix and make waffles. Get some syrup and you have amazing chicken and waffles!!!!!!

i have celiac disease and sometimes it's a struggle but ive found a lot of stuff that i do like and i have had some stuff that tastes the same if it had gluten. im also going to be going to a gluten-free fair/festival and im super excited bc it would be great to find more things gluten-free that i like. also the reason why the pasta was bigger than the other was bc it's made with rice pasta.

Yup, you can definitely taste the difference. Been diagnosed with Coeliacs for two years and still find some of the food sucky.

I have celiac disease and so does my son. He’s never had regular normal food in his life but I’ve only been gluten free about 2 years now. I make everything homemade from scratch because it taste better then most store bought gluten free. Please do a part 2 🙏🙏🙏💜💜💜

Loved the reaction to Temari vs Soy sauce. Temari has a stronger fermentation flavor to it and I prefer it, especially when marinating! You should try making vegan "bacon" with it. It doesnt taste like bacon but it is delicious with Tamari instead of regular soy. ☺

We havent tried Tamari yet, but my husband much prefers the flavor of soy aminos vs soy sauce and we both laughed so hard at that portion 😂 soy sauce is really not that tasty!
