There are a few things in your paragraph. Firstly, you’ve spent 5 years of your life with this person. So naturally it is like weaning of a drug for you, especially because you love her so much. I do not know the details of your situation, but you have to understand that your other half has WILLINGLY made the decision that her life is better off without you. Although focusing on looks this much isn't healthy and condusive to a long term relationship...looks fade, I think taking time for yourself to take care of yourself ...maybe getting your hair done and nails maintained, working out and eating nourishing food will make you look healthier that's a more positive way to put this , people can't change their natural looks to a certain extent.
