I was HYPED when I saw the teaser and the cover art, because I love cats and the rosy tones of the artwork suited my preference, but once I saw the inside, the green and grey killed it for me. If they wanted to imitate imitate cat fur or cat eyes, that would be one thing, but the dog one isn't exactly true to dog colouring, so I was left scratching my head (no pun intended). I feel like making them complementary colour stories would be the most logical; if Dog is brown/yellow/green/blue, Cat should be purple/red/pink/black.

Yes im late here but the owner and the design team struggled with the colour story because it was their first 9 pan palette. But I'm a big cat lover and was dissapointed too. They said if you layered the rosa one with the grey one it looks great. But I don't like 9 pan palettes and would definitely like a bigger one. Hey its cats and dogs. We all love our pets

Steff's beauty stash made a beautiful look using the green matte and the upper pink shimmer of the paws palette ... Love your look too with this palette. The color story seems difficult, and without these looks I would have think, "pretty but I don't see what to do with it", but now I really want it, I see something special in it ...

I don’t like that they decided to do circle pans that look like everyone else. I really liked their square pans. But it’s weird that they didn’t send you PR I feel like you helped put them on the map tbh

I was super excited for the cat palette especially, because I love cats so much. Like you, I was a little unsure about the color story. I had been expecting more pink based on the packaging, so I swapped out the green and orange for a pink and a coral. I put the green and orange in the empty fox palette Menagerie sells and built a third color story around the colors of that packaging. It might be fun to use alongside either the dog or the cat palette in the future.

Adorable packaging and that’s what made me figure I’d end up picking these up but, I don’t think I’m feelin em after seeing them being worked with. The. Looks turned out beautifully, just feel like these wouldn’t be the perfect palettes for me that I thought they’d be. Annette I REALLY wanna see you do another palette collab! I missed your one from Oden’s Eye 😭 you have such a way with color and know you would come out with an amazing color story and vibe!

I'm surprised the brown? in the claws palette wasn't building. That's one thing that always struck me about their mattes is how bam in your face they are.

I ordered all 3 and love them so far. The Paws is favorite and I love the new Killer Purr. The Claws is good too but for my style a little light I think. Or something. I use them together and it's magical. I'm going to try to recreate your looks, all three were stunning, especially #3. So good!

I ordered the Paws and Claws ones; I feel like I may use them together? like the green would make more sense in the Paws palette and the orange would make more sense in the Claws one yes shimmers > mattes every time! lol. Also I've been doing a modified version of your wing shape and I LOVE IT. I don't think I have hooded eyes but there is something about my face shape where popular eyeliner / eyeshadow shapes don't look right or don't work - so THANK YOU 💖

When you use the glitter glue, how long do you let it set before adding the glitter?

I just go straight on top, I dont really wait lol. And just to clarify, I never use actual glitter on my eyes since they arent eye safe, only sparkly or shimmery shadows

Thank you! You can try concealer, but I find it much harder to blend on a concealer, my shimmers crease super fast and mattes dont show up as pigmented. A lot of people dont mind tho, and its def better than not using anything

Still undecided about the redone killer purr... I find the claws and paws palettes so adorable but I just feel like they aint as great as they could of been... seeing them in person I felt even more blah about them... the paws one isn't bad but the claws one for sure seems off... I feel like menagerie might have took a step back instead of forward... overall they are cute just not exactly as exciting as I was expecting... and the cat one for sure seems like a weird colorstory... loved the looks especially with paws and killer purr you always make beautiful looks

The turquoise stained a little bit yeah, so the square pans seem to stain more than the round ones for whatever reason lol

Next time you want to do a bold shadow and are wearing a white outfit put your bathrobe on backwards when you do your eyeshadow. It will keep the white from getting dirty. I know this because I’m messy too. 😉

Wow, that brown was very patchy! The color story of the claws palette makes zero sense to me. The 1st shimmer is gorgeous though. Love the color story of the paws palette. I still love the killer purr palette and the look was beautiful!

I'm so disappointed that I don't have the original version of the Claws pallete. That looks gorgeous! I do have V2, and I love that one as well, but man. I want those shimmers they took out. And I thought they had single shades of all of the colors they use in their palettes, but I was either mistaken, or they stopped doing that which is so disappointing.

I dont like the kitten palette and it made me SO sad lol. Weird color story and pink is not my color. I love dogs, too but I have three cats so I wanted to like that one so bad! I opted to get the puppy palette but I too was confused by the black-based shimmers and comparatively very light mattes. I feel like it could've been perfect if they gave us one very very deep matte; a super dark rich green or blue would've been lovely. Oh well, I still like it. I'll probably end up bringing in dark shades and more highlight-y shimmers when I use it... which is fine for a 9 pan.
