“I can work without Glasses, 100% protection”. I am sorry to tell you, but that thing is not going to save you from kickbacks. Your tablesaw safety skills have a lot to be desired. At least you have a writhing blade but you can still get a kickback if you only have one hand on a push stick and nothing else. Always wear safety glasses with a table saw or any saw.

That first piece you cut could easily have kicked back into your stomach. The cover prevents you from having complete control of both pieces of the wood you cut. What you have done is traded safety for convenience.

I’m just trying to figure out why you didn’t just use the blade guard that came with the saw. It was designed for the saw by the people who designed the saw. They always have worked perfectly fine and they have a dust collector port on them.

I like it. But the ceiling mount wouldn't work for me. My saw table is movable. I have a hose coming from the ceiling that is attached to a blade guard.
@David-vb8ih6 ай бұрын
It looks like you could easily modify it by adding a cross bar over the top of your saw that attatces to the table base then mounting to the cross bar. Mods are where it's at. Take what you see and make it your own.

Nice video 7 but your not supposed to have your tablesaw blade no more than than 1/8"above the board your cutting and that will also cut down the amount of dust most will fall below the tablesaw or inside case. To bad you want be able to use the sawdust blade garde device when cutting on any angle cuts. But its a great idea keep up the good wooworking 0:03 . Remember always wrae safety 0:03 glasses 🤓! If you use a band saw always use an old piece of wood to feed the work piece through, not your hands each side like in the video. If it were to snatch it would draw your arm across the blade and cut you badly. Machines are dangerous and need to be respected. I am a retired toolmaker/ machinst.

I like this idea! It is very clever and well made... But your blade is dull af. It's cutting way too slow. Clean and/or sharpen that bad boy. It will help with the quality of the cut and safety. Also, your thumbnail is total click bait. It should be a picture on the table saw itself.

When i was a mere lad, i took employment as a seaman on a sailing ship destined for to round Cape Horn in search of the elusive white whale. The craggy one legged captain told a tale of how he carved his missing leg from a sperm whale tooth, and how his leg was lost to the angry dull teeth of a rusty antique yet dustfree table saw! Tis a memory I've long cherished these 300 years, and often repeated to the delight of me elders!
