this video is so helpful!! I think the measurement chart might be down, though. When I click the link, it goes to a canva error page. Is there another way I can access that info?

Does anyone have a copy of the Canva chart and calculations? I've tried to access it and it says the owner changed the access permissions.

Thanks for the awesome video Since it a basic bodice block how can it be used to make dress shirts and other mens wear?

dearest La Modeliste, thank you for sharing; I have a question about the sleeve pattern; after drafting I think you forgot the Arm Circumference and elbow circumference and deduct/put 1" in from the underarm line and connected to the arm-pit. After I followed you in each drafting technique my sleeve pattern is too wide down from elbow circumference; what shall I do, may I follow the circumferences measurement or do as you did? Thanks again.

Hi! At 5:00 in your video, you indicate using 1/4 of the garment ease, and that I should refer to my chart. Where have you discussed ease? Did I miss a video? Thx for a great tutorial.

2:17… please check out the link for the chart

The 1/4 in is added for ease.

@@LAMODÉLISTEThx! The caption in the video does not have the "in" after the 1/4. So I was confused. Thx for clearing that up.

Hi thank you so much.Also I have a question do you think it would be possible to add cm in the writting or is it too late please.Thank you🙏
@LAMODÉLISTE Жыл бұрын
Hi! I’m sorry if I didn’t include it. But if you want to convert inches from centimeters you can always multiply inches example: 1 inch x 2.54 = 2.5cm I seriously didn’t have the time to put the conversion maybe you can do the conversion by yourself thank you

I made the blick, but shouldn't the back armhole be higher than the front. Right now with your method shoulder point of front and back are at the same level

Will this work for knit fabric? or is this just for woven? Thanks for the tutorial!!
@LAMODÉLISTE Жыл бұрын
Yes it will but mind you this is only a basic block and there are contours that can be applied to make it fit on a model

Just a little food for thought for the viewers men do not have hip, its called a "seat" in men's fashion. Females have hip when your talking about fashion.
@LAMODÉLISTE Жыл бұрын
Men do have hips, “seat” is just a different term. Men are also humans consisting of chest natural waist line and hip line.
