I might be one of those guys who told you to just keep going haha 😂.... Honestly, I have no idea why the algorithm never gave you enough love (or was too sporadic to depend on). It really goes to show how imperfect algorithms are, and what sort of content is prioritized these days. But still, I feel like your editing style is very contemporary. It *should* work, especially here on YT. Either way, I'd watch your take on any topic, just because I enjoy the editing/pacing and aesthetic. There are fewer and fewer purists out there. Not as many people with soul in the game anymore. I think you have that (i.e., you care about what you make). So I'll say it again: keep going! (But don't limit yourself to menswear....make whatever you feel like making!)
@DemetriosLevi7 ай бұрын
You were! I feel bad now because you reminded me that I mentioned you and some others in a thank you on my first take of this, but since it's unscripted it always was changing. So here will have to suffice for now: thank you so much, brother! You helped me so much and I can't thank you enough for the incredible support you've shown me over the years. Your words mean so much. I will keep going. Thank you, brother!
@krazoe62587 ай бұрын
Bruh, I came across your channel by looking for tutorials on how to make linen trousers. Your video was amazing, and I instantly connected with your editing style and just overall authenticity. I followed along on your fashion videos, and they were the best on the entire platform! Most youtubers that deal with male fashion are just shilling their own (hanger) projects and are basically making targeted ads that prey on people's desire to not break any of the unwritten style "rules". Big props to you for showing off how your expensive clothes deteriorated and aren't really worth the money. It's a story that needs to be told. I know you will do incredibly well wherever you go next. Attention to detail and a strong work ethic is apparent from your portfolio of videos. Good luck on whatever path you need to take next.
@DemetriosLevi7 ай бұрын
Brother, I can't you enough for your kind words...thank you! It is unfortunate how many shills are on the platform, whether they're trying to convince their audience of gold plated elephant dung or trying to convince themselves, it's unfortunate. But lessons learned lol Thank you again brother...this gives me hope

Yeah a lot of those online MTM operations are a grift. They wow people with the fancy textiles from old world heritage brands, but they rip and fall apart immediately because the construction is H&M-level shoddy single stitching and super glue.

I love that you are making rings now, as I am a big ring collector.It sounds like you got burnt out along the way. Also regarding your pants, not all fabrics are bad, a lot of MTM stuff is just not made for pants. But you don't know making one off stuff. I have tested fabrics extensively to prevent something like that because if you have a bad batch of RTW pants that's problematic.

Welcome Back or Hey, again? For what you gave us while you were here, personal and editing style were masterpieces and what you shared for the men who would listen and take your advice was invaluable; in my eyes you broke the mold on dressing stylish and swanky for men simply finding a 3-piece suit or being guided strictly by men's fashion trends. You don't have to make jewelry for profit but you now have proof that you're a skilled personal stylist and editor. Thank you for what you gave us when you had it in you!

I really feel you on the custom failures, man. I too have had expensive MTM garments fail on me and my coworker, who is a huge designer brand kind of guy, can't help but keep up a smug attitude about it. But can I really fight against him? His Burberry, Ferragamo, LV, and John Varvatos stuff haven't had nearly as many problems as my MTM pieces have. And I've read the garment tags - half of those items are made from crap! So he ends up thinking that custom clothing is overrated and pales in comparison to "artistry". Alas, I have been watching your channel since 2020 at least. At the time I couldn't wrap my head around how your sub count could be so middling despite your production values - I still can't. The algorithm really did you dirty. Despite this, I for one believe you've got what it takes to make this channel one of the greats. So whatever you decide to put out, you can be sure I'll watch and share it. Cheers bud, and happy belated Good Friday!

So glad you made this video. I wanted to share a few thoughts. You're right about the quality of the clothes, and it is legitimately a gamble to experiment with going up in price point. Also, it was cool to find out that you're interested in Byzantine history, so I'll definitely be checking out your other channel. The most important thing though I wanted to share is that I haven't personally watched your channel for advice on fashion or for it being cinematic. For me it's really just been your personality. You've always seemed like a cool, flashy guy, who at the same time is self-aware and modest, and I admire your courage in getting in front of the camera and being like that.

I've been checking on this channel on and off over the last couple of years on the off chance that you'd be back so it's great too see another video on the channel even if it isn't necessarily the outcome I would have liked. In the menswear space you are truly up there with the best of them, you have a unique style and the way that you present your videos are fantastic. So while you will definitely be missed (though I am now going to have to rewatch through your older videos), I'm sure there are bright things in your future. The algorithm has sadly taken another victim, but by god you gave it a red hot crack.

You may think God is telling you to stop making videos, but he is testing your persistence. Once you get out of this rut you feel that you're in, you are going to grow significantly. I mean your channel's quality is worthy of millions of subs. So they will come. Just stay confident and create with love and passion, not with the numbers in mind. The hair videos brought me here, but the fashion stuff is what made me stay. If you love that, keep it up man. And even if quality is going down in the industry, do your best to find the best quality for you and your subscribers and be the guy who drops gems for those seeking quality menswear. Whatever direction you go in, just give it your all. Glad to see you back man!

I would 100% purchase your jewelry once it (hopefully) becomes a business. It's hard to find good, unique, classic jewelry. And I appreciate a human touch over some factory-made, mass-produced clones. However, no matter what, don't do anything that kills the relaxation and enjoyment form making jewelry, as that's worth more than any price.
