In honour of Mental Health Awareness Week, we sat down with former Paralympic swimmer and UKSI Performance Lifestyle Practitioner James Hollis. Five years ago, he shared his thoughts in a blog about his mental health and his transition from elite sport. We decided to catch up with him to find out what’s changed since then and how things have improved.
We also discussed the theme of this year's awareness week: the benefits of movement. James offered insights into how his relationship with physical activity has shifted over the years and what role it plays in his well-being today.
