You appear to be a gentleman who wants to give 120% in everything that you do. You care deeply & give your all to everyone. Heck, I think you are a great role model & person. A strong person knows & admits his/her vulnerabilities ( not to be referred to as weakness'). I am proud of you & have no doubt that your character & work ethic are solid. If I may call you a friend, it will be my pleasure. God Bless & keep on keeping on. As a person who has battled Multiple Sclerosis for 34 years & kept working full time until I could retire (poor, but proud), I can tell you that inner strength & faith are the keys & other people never stop to consider & recognize the hardships, doubt & courage it takes to face each day. There are always those who scoff and minimize the challenges of those who preserve. Let us call them pea brains & rock on. Sign me up as in your corner come Hades &/or high H2O. If you need something, I will be there!

My parents divorced when I was 6 and it really crushed me, and I retreated into a shell according to my mother, and in a close community I was ridiculed for my parents sin , which lead to me, and divorce. Fortunately I was able to find the best person in the world! She literally my other half. Evan, my best friend has helped me through so much, and her family is amazing as well. My father, well evan's father, is a marine and has taught me so much about my self the last 5 years I have been with them. And last march my brother passed away in a car accident, and they were there, even though he was their son and brother, and they were strong. Without my family I could not have gotten through life's hardest moment's. So thank you airman martian for making these videos and helping us all through this.

I've recently came across your channel and have been binge watching all your videos. I have to say you're a very respectable and knowledgeable person. What you do is very beneficial and I thank you for that. You remind me of myself and you seem like a pretty cool guy. So with that being said I know you don't get too personal and I know I'm a 'stranger' (I'm pretty cool and nice myself!) If you need someone to vent to that is open minded and caring you can reach out to me. I'm on almost every social media platform. I know you're doing counseling and that's amazing! But sometimes it's nice to converse with someone with same experiences and same age group. Keep making these videos and keep doing good job. Much respect :)

I know you made this video so long ago, but thank you SO MUCH for sharing this. It has really eased a lot of anxiety I was feeling about my mental health history as I’m trying to get into the Air Force. It’s not easy to be vulnerable in a video that the whole world has access to, but you have really made a positive difference and I appreciate it. I know others do, too. You’ll go very far.

Thank you for making this video! I've been thinking about joining the air force, because I'd love to be a part of the Space force in 2022 and become a better man. I've been worried about the same mental issues you are talking about. I am not so worried anymore thank you!

Behavioral/Mental health is a major role in the military. I'm a behavioral health specialist in the Army. You are a strong person by realizing you have something happening that is effecting you in your everyday life and you are doing something about it. That's courage. A lot of people won't go bc of the stigma that hovers around Behavioral Health. Advocate for behavioral health bc you are living proof that behavioral health is worth going to. Keep up the good work battle, and don't give up. You always have someone in your corner.

I'm 19 year old male looking to enlist in the next month or so and this video makes a lot of sense to me as far as I struggle with a lot of the things you have talked about in this video is there any advice you could give me on starting a military type life (things you wish someone would have told you before enlisting)

Hey Martin Productions, Good to see you're still on KZbin and have more subscribers. This is a topic that a lot of Air Force and other Military Branch KZbinrs were uncomfortable talking about with me when I was seeking information and asking questions. Thanks for making the video, I understand that it is a topic that can disrupt the sway of your position on base. In fact, if you catch hell for making this video please feel free to show your commanders this comment. Martin Productions releasing a video on the topic of mental health in the Air Force has made me respect the Air Force more. Not only respect the Air Force more, but also value the concern and watchful eye of a fellow Air Men. I would like to see more military KZbinrs releasing videos addressing this topic.

Honestly, this really hit home to me and how you described overanalyzing and getting mad at the stupidest things when you're not doing well. That's how I am when it comes to wanting to do well in something especially to make a good contribution to fellow wingmen especially to those above me such as our instructors, supervisors etc. That anxiety has got worse going through tech school with the overwhelming information on the criteria we were learning as a crew chief. Sometimes I feel like I have trouble following directions and as soon I misinterpret, over analyze those directions given to me, I freeze up and get nervous because I would be ready to get my ass handed for not doing as told. It's a real confidence buster leaving more anxious on whether if I can do my job or not here in the Air Force. That being said, you're a good man to open up about your issues on here because it isn't easy, but you aren't alone and you are helping many people including myself that you seem to relate what goes through my mind on a daily bases with anxiety. Let us know how you're doing as time goes, you set a great example to the Air Force with what you do on this channel

I have anxiety issues. I get nervous about things, but the really nervousness is usually from socially situations. I was as well bullied in 4th grade, for alot of the same reasons that you were. I was kind of an annoying kid and to be honest a lot of it wouldn't of happened if i didnt act that way. At the time my anxiety didnt develop, but recently early this year when i was going into 8th grade my anxiety developed and it got really really bad. I got really really depressed and I didnt know how to fix it. Recently its slowly faded away and now i dont have it nearly as much. Its still definitly around and i dont expect it to disapear any time soon atleast. Some day i hope i will enlist into the airforce. Im just hoping that my opinions wont change, once im leaving high school. Just thought i might tell you that about that

With heartfelt appreciation, thank you for this video. Seeing a therapist has been one of the best choices I've ever made. (See thinks joining the USAF is a wonderful option for me) Your true grit to this topic, especially in light of recent events, is vital to the health of our nation. Please don't stop making videos and keeping in touch with all of us as a community.

Hey Amn Martin, I wanted to apologize for yelling at you today lol. Seeing you totally caught me off guard. I started watching your KZbin videos like 2 months before I joined the Air force. They really helped me choose Air Force over Navy and helped me survive boot camp like a champ. Thanks for all that you do and I'm sorry if I embarrassed you. Bearing fail lol. Just super surprised too see you. Small Air Force.

I am glad you're honest enough with yourself to admit issues you have. You have the best outlook possible for someone dealing with some of these issues. You're right that people often ask how someone is without really caring. And that's unfortunate. But there are tons of people out here that do care. While on active duty there might be a bit of a stigma, but the veteran community is pretty great with trying to help one another. Seems we've all lost someone to mental illness, and none of us want to do it again. M And honest talk, if you need someone to talk to, vent to, or anything else just send me a message. I'll give you all the contact info I have and be happy to listen, text, email, whatever you need.

InformalGreeting I didn't mean it to the sense that no one cares. However it seems a lot of people only do because of briefings and not because they actually do. I want to kill the Air Forces reactive mindset and be proactive and trying to fix find the issue. And thank you honesty for that it means a lot to me. More than you know
