Systematic problems can not have isolated solutions. Mental health issues are just the *symptoms* of an underlying problem in society. Despite being among the most developed countries, Sweden has a very high socioeconomic differences. The older generation do not realize that it is NOT only the lack of physical activity which is causing the mental health problems. Social media has exposed the previously a sheltered and closed Swedish society to the world. Now the people are in the open competition with the whole world in the job market. This brings unimaginable amount of pressure on the people who are out of the job market. The problem is not the lack of jobs but the skewed relationship of jobs with the job seekers. Only 10% of the people get all the jobs, which means this privileged 10% people do multiple jobs or chew and spit the jobs. This disposable attitude is ingrained in the young minds and they treat everything as a disposable thing in life including the relationships. Stockholm has become a symbol of capitalistic exploitation. Housing prices have sky rocketed and labor exploitation is at its worst. Swedish people are living in a true Matrix bubble where 10% of the elite don't even know what 90% are going through in their daily lives.

consumerism in video game industry is a big problem
@suuujuuus2 жыл бұрын
You want to say that consuming video games is a big cause for mental illness?
@LN-gq7eo2 жыл бұрын
@@suuujuuus no, i mean they design video games for 10, 12 hours play per day. That's a part of consumerism. Also the alcoholic theme, addiction.
@suuujuuus2 жыл бұрын
@@LN-gq7eo So you mean that video games are designed to be played 10,12 hours a day and to be addicting, and if one falls for it while being mentally fine, it makes them prone to mental illness?
@LN-gq7eo2 жыл бұрын
@@suuujuuus scientifically yes. But a small percentage
