Girl, I got pneumonia 2 weeks after using a CPAP. Not follow in the instructions completely, it keeping me awake, and the stress of caring for my dad were the perfect combo. I nearly died. Take care of yourself. There’s only one Tanya and the world is not ready to lose you.

Your thumbnail had me LOLOLOLOL. The people who are assigned to dispensing the CPAP machines are unreliable and do not educate properly. We still do not have the 100% truth about how to care for our machines or when the supplies should be updated. What a mess.

@@MyWanderingTales thank you! And you might already know this but in case you don't, don't start brushing from the roots. Start at the tips and get the knots out and then move a little bit up further until you get to the roots. And I kind of use a flicking motion if that makes sense especially at the tips 🙂

thank you so much!!! I was pretty upset with myself when I realized it was my own fault I was sick 👀 and now I broke the stupid thing 😳 I just want a good night's sleep!!! I never realized how much I woke up gasping for air before I had a sleep machine. but since having one for a while and now not having one for a bit - I'm very aware of waking up gasping for air. and also because I am never getting into a deep sleep I am having the craziest dreams and they just seem to go on and on all night... 🤯

I’m sorry you were feeling badly!!! I love your curly hair! Make yourself a calendar with things you really need to accomplish on or by specific dates.♥️ Maybe you can get one of those new self cleaning cpap machines 😉. I follow you no matter what you talk about and have never thought I wonder what she started to say 😂. That place was no longer “ home” 😞 Hope the fair was fun!

Thank you for the boot in the butt about cleaning the c-pap gear! I have been negligent. I'm trying to do the vinegar rinse every Friday now. Also, I need to stay on top of getting new gear when it's available. Here in the states (on Medicare), it's... every 6 months?? idk.. I need to check that. Glad you're feeling better. Love your little apartment.

I love your curls! I have very thick hair, but it is bone straight and does not hold a curl if I try to curl it. I kept perms in my hair all through the 80's and 90's and part of the 2000's. I haven't had a perm in about 15 or so years but seeing your beautiful curls makes me want to start getting perms again. Have fun at the Fair. The Fair just came through our town about 2 weeks ago, but it is still so hot here in Georgia, so we didn't go. Our kids are grown and no grandchildren so we didn't go out into the heat. I love the Fair though. Wish they did it here a little later in the Fall like they did when I was a kid.

You are so right Tanya about our healthcare, that’s one of the reasons I am anxious about getting sick or anyone in my family getting sick because it is a nightmare going to the ER. Is this the first time you forgot to clean your cpap? I am just wondering if all the stress you have gone through over the last few months is what triggered all of it and why it is so hard for you to feel better.

I love your thumb nail. It made me chuckle. I did not go to the fair once this year. That is so unusual of me. Question - if you only brush your hair a couple of times a week, how do you keep/get the snarls out of it? I try to only use my fingers, but I usually need to comb it up into my ponytail because shorter pieces fall out during the week. I'm anal about not having my hair around my face. Something about that truly annoys me, so consequently I keep my hair up in a ponytail. Generally, I wear clip in fake ponytails because I hate my own hair. My own hair is so darn thick that I can barely get the clip to close around my ponytail. I feel like my hair doesn't grow longer it just gets thicker. 😂 Tanya, it seems like you're too hard on yourself. I know that sounds like a simple response and the brain has to grapple with the notion. I get it because I suffer from chronic depression. Sometimes I feel fine without a care in the world and then all of a sudden I'm in a deep depression with no warning or reason to feel so down. Its crazy because I have degrees in psychology, so I know the terminology, but when I'm down I cannot seem to help myself. I really wanted a PhD in psychology so I could counsel people, but now I'm old so that's just a dream. I feel like I never accomplished what I was meant to do in this life. Oh well! I feel like grandchildren are so good for us because they give us hope for the next generation. It's such a blessing to watch them grow and mature. Keep your chin up as you're doing great. I feel like I could write a book because I can so relate, but I better say so long for now. ❤

Why not take the time for a follow-up appointment to be sure everything has cleared up? You've put this much time and effort into getting well and I would hate to see you having a 2nd round of it. Also your glasses have gone up considerably because of inflation. Here's a awesome video for cleaning your cpac machine. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bYm1c3Scpbp9nLcsi=YaIVVDRu2OdIGTrV Great hearing from you and hope you had a awesome day at the fair. God Bless you ❤️

@@rt3156 I do have a regular doctor's appointment in 11 days. I wonder if that's too long to wait? I was thinking the same thing about checking in with the doctor but I don't want to go to emergency. Maybe I will phone my doctor in the morning and see if I can get a sooner appointment...

@@DebraDockler-os2sb a CPAP does more than just put humidity in the air like that. The amount of air pressure coming out of the CPAP physically holds your Airways open so you don't stop breathing. They do provide humidity at the same time but only because if they use that much air pressure without humidity your throat would be as dry as the desert.
