Much appreciated !! I have read a lot about stress and anxiety. One general solution I can give is - You always feel better when you just overcome odds in your life. There is no point of constant happiness in life, if it is then there Is no feeling of "feeling better".

This hits so close to home right now! like Hitesh said in the beginning, these huge multinational corporate entities and fortune 100 companies are great resume builders, and I'm sure that once you reach a director's position things are pretty comfy cozy, but they will drag you through the dirt without even sparing a passing thought for your mental and physical well-being. They will ring you out like a sponge just to see how much they can squeeze you without screwing up your efficacy, and once they find that limit, that will be the new expectation for you to put forth all the time. Don't let them take you through the ringer! Set your bar low, take your time, ask for more time, when you provide an estimate, add 50% from whatever you were going to say, heck, double it even! Most client's and PM's won't really have any idea how long things should take, especially on complex asks, and when you come in under, you look like a hero, but if you run into issues or unforeseens, you've at least padded your time significantly enough to allow you to maintain and still meet the company's expectations. Slow and steady wins the race.

About 9 months ago, I had a chronic stress because of coding, which I had once a deep passion for. At that time, I didn't take care of my body - not eating well, not sleeping well and overworking thinking that life is all about coding. But ultimately, I got serious mental exhaustion (burnout) which causes me to lose my enthusiasm and passion for coding. This experience teach me a big lesson - life balance is the most the thing. Our goal must not become our prison.

Mental stress is literally a dengerous thing to consider if you are dealing with it for a long time. It will ruin your health gradually. At some point, you can't even face a normal situation. As hitesh said, one should be taking breaks, reading books etc to elimate the stress and move on. If you still can't get rid of it, i suggest you to move away from the environment causing it.

Every one feels stressed in their lives for financial quest/aspirations. When do I realize that I should seek help? Cause quite often this happens to be the case where you speak out about the issues you are going through, and instead of support or some meaningful help, either you get judged or get bad advice.
