are epstein's pearls only located on the palate? i found they can be everywhere in the mouth
@mentaldental3 ай бұрын
Yes, they are. Bohn's nodules or dental lamina cysts can appear in different areas of the mouth (such as the alveolar ridges), but Epstein's pearls are exclusively associated with the palate.

I'm essential CERTAIN I have a nasolabial cyst. It looks EXACTLY like the person in the picture and is putting a good amount of pressure on my teeth. I already went to a dentist and they weren't certain where it was coming from after x ray but wanted to perform a root canal. I'm pretty certain they are completely wrong and they themselves seemed UNCERTAIN about it. What doctor do I need to see to get this procedure?

If you’re looking for a specialist, an oral surgeon may be best suited to diagnose, biopsy, and potentially treat a cyst like this.

@@mentaldental Crazy you just responded because I now have a large abcess right above top front teeth AFTER taking antibiotics. It just under a week it got huge. It's not painful just VERY annoying. My top lip is pushing out a tiny bit from the size, literal size of pea, and I can't avoid feeling it. AFTER finishing antibiotics the nasolabila cyst, which in still think is the issue, got smaller. And when I press on the side of my nose I can feel pressure building on the abscess. Feels like it's going to pop on it's own any second and I think I might just pop it myself. Can nasolabial cyst or abtibiotics CAUSE an abcess on the gums?!
