For next week: The Queen’s death will be one of the most expensive deaths in the world. Princess Diana’s funeral cost the equivalent of $10 million in the direct funeral expenses alone. There are 36 billion pieces of paper money with the Queen’s likeness on them that will need to be replaced, not only in the UK, but worldwide. That’s a cost of $200 million to re-mint the currency in the UK and $1 billion worldwide. Some currency will undoubtedly be hoarded by collectors, particularly those minted in the years of her coronation, Jubilees, and death. The date of her funeral, which will fall ten days after her death, and the day of the coronation of the new monarch would be declared national holidays, which would each be estimated to have a negative economic impact of $3 billion through lost productivity.

With the bag on her back, the Queen wants to pass this message on to her subjects: the message that "we are going to invade Egypt and steal all its treasures and mess up history, then we are going to plunder Africa and make slaves ... then we will step and humiliate the Indians, then we will colonize the 3rd world and steal all of its natural wealth ... then we turn to our land as if nothing had happened and we pose as good guys "I read this in the history books!

My favourite fact is a man call Michael Fagan who broke into Buckingham palace twice. On the first break-in he drunk some expensive wine..... On the second break-in he sat on the queens bed and had a chat about how poorly people are treated and if she can help. He wasn't apprehended for over 30mins. When the queens maid came to wake the queen she quickly raised the alarm. He was swiftly removed, the queen did ask the guard to be gentle with him.
@yourbrainonfacts3 жыл бұрын
For next week: Queen Elizabeth II is Prince Philip's third cousins through Queen Victoria, and second cousins once removed through King Christian IX of Denmark. William and Kate are distant cousins, very distant, fourteenth cousins once removed through his mother and fifteenth cousins through his father. To consider Harry and Meghan Markle related, you have to trace their families back to the fifteenth century to find a common ancestor, so we’re willing to say that doesn’t count.

For next week: Queen Elizabeth’s purse carries a great deal of weight in day-to-day interactions. If she moves her purse from her left arm to her right, it’s a signal to her handlers that they should get her out of the conversation she’s in. Putting her bag on the floor is a sign that she needs to be saved from an uncomfortable encounter, like, now. If she puts her purse on the table at a dinner function, the dinner it to end within five minutes. Despite being the figurehead of what was once the greatest empire in the world, the contents of Elizabeth’s purse are pretty typical for ladies of a certain age: a mirror, lipstick, mints, and reading glasses.

Royal Family factsss- So there is speculation that Queen Victoria was illegitimate because of the genetic disorders she passed on to her descendants, namely hemophilia. The Queen has a servant to break in her shoes for her and her corgis get fancy homemade gourmet food. The name Windsor name is basically made up They aren’t allowed to eat garlic or shellfish for various reasons, and monopoly has been forbidden at royal family gatherings. The Queen was a mechanic in World War II and famously likes to drive herself-and if I recall correctly, she doesn’t need a license because they’re all issued in her name. (Any biopic or docudrama will almost always include the not-so-subtle exposition “I was a mechanic in the war”)
