It's a combination of a few things. I'm a nerd about music theory and composition, I enjoy orchestral music, it's relatively easy enough that I can do it, and it's a way to celebrate some of my favorite games. I think the earliest that I showed interest was playing Super Smash Bros Melee - hearing the orchestral arrangements of songs was so neat! Eventually I saw people do their own arrangements on KZbin and I figured out how to do it on my own. I know my arrangements aren't the best (at least I haven't quite been able to nail the epic orchestral feel that I want to), but I like to put a different spin on songs that some people might appreciate. As for my favorite arrangement that I've done, it's hard to say, but I think it might be the Brinstar Jungle theme from Super Metroid!

All other positions that are listed on the official website and not on the SNS page are for unannounced projects by Retro Studios.
