I really like using the Menzerna 400. It creates dust but the cut and shine is very good. You should try a forced-drive machine with a medium pad because your paint still doesn't look convincing.

Despite its name HCC 400 is not a dedicated cutting compound its a one step. However its pad/pressure/speed dependent. If used properly and as intended by the manufacturer it would easily remove those swirl marks and leave a great finish in one pass. From what I see and understood that you wanted to achieve you used the wrong pad, speed, and technique.

KCx H8.02 / H9.02 is phenomenal compound. The cut and finish for an aggressive compound is right up Theo as 1 of thee best around .

When i watch a video with polishing stuff i watch on details and on this video i see a lot of errors in my opinion. 1. First off all , when you have so scratched clearcoat you use a rotary , you reduce a lot of time . 2. You try to corect to big area in one shot. 3. When you have a clearcoat like this one you have to use a microfiber pad in dual action polisher or lambswool pad on rotary. 4. When you wipe down the residue of polish put that towel in 4 God damn it. How you can wipe like that ? 5. Don't give up. All the best y'all

Thank you for the advice 😁 I’m always trying to learn and better myself

I think 3D is going to be my next purchase. Heard good things about their heavy cut

So after using this what's the next product to use
@JL-wf2wp2 ай бұрын
The 2400 and at last the 3800 if you want outstanding results
@irecruitfish74102 ай бұрын
@@JL-wf2wp Thanks I ended up doing this. I use the 400, 2500, and then the 3800. Got a good shine but I realize I have orange peel which I'm not too happy about I just need a leave it as is since it's orange peel from the factory. I was really trying to go for that complete crisp mirror reflection look but it's just not going to be possible
