I picked one up and gotta say.. It’s pretty comfortable with the AXL shoulder pads has served me well so far! Only gripe I have with it is it’s fairly tight around the head when slipping it on/off. Is that normal? I understand it’s adjustable. But, when I adjust the straps, so the opening is wider, the bags don’t sit properly. (Just below the sternum with back plate even to front plate.) I hope I explained that correctly and someone is able to help. Thank you!

@@ThinLineDefenseCo M-tac actually makes one that has a nylon strap sewn to the shoulder strap that basically acts as a rip cord for the velcro when under shoulder pads or pack straps. But even a 2" tube on the support side would make it 10x easier to get the plate carrier off in an emergency

As much as I love my Javlin A-JAC (my personal fave), the price of the MEPC V2 is really what makes me recommend it over the A-JAC to my friends. I personally think that the features of the A-JAC and the MEPC are comparable. The price, MEPC wins. I guess the things that the A-JAC has over the MEPC is the range of adjustment for the shoulder straps and how similar the shoulder straps are to the SPC design (which I favor).

PLATE CARRIER ? Hi. It is very interesting to observe the American school of military equipment in comparison with the Russian school, where the products are more weighted for greater shatterproof protection. As a rule, in Russia, slings are used for shoulder straps, as on Agilite K 19, but other elements are also reinforced as much as possible. It is also interesting that now in America they have completely abandoned side protection, in comparison with the Russian PLATE CARRIER , where, on the contrary, the side protection is increased for better protection from fragments. I am very interested in your opinion about the Russian school of military equipment in comparison with the American one, have you encountered Russian PLATE CARRIERS?
