Hey future military members! In this video I am at MEPS and give you a walkthrough of the hotel I was staying at during my time there! I also have videos giving a full MEPS step by step of

I joined three years ago and yes when there wasn’t covid we were allowed to leave our rooms! They even had a gaming room where every one hung out 🙂

When I went the first time before covid I drove myself there and was allowed to drive around town.

I live in NJ and I went during COVID around the time when we were in the epicenter of COVID. Still allowed to leave our rooms.

I went to meps at the beginning of April and I was able to leave my room and leave the hotel as well, just had to check out.

Thanks for sharing your experience! I want to join ANG route, frustrated that I can’t get in contact with any recruiters...I ain’t getting any younger here (34)🤣 Maybe I should just hold off until I finish grad school this fall

I would say NOT to hold off on trying to contact them! Keep it up! Call and send emails Because if you hold off until later and then are still struggling to get in contact, that would suck! So. Keep trying because getting in contact is the first step! You can still work on school or whatever else, but sometimes your effort and meeting you in person to see how serious you are will make them stay in touch

Currently at the MEPS hotel in Massachusetts, we definitely don’t have as nice rooms, we share rooms two people to a room, a queen sized bed each, joining the Air Force but it’s the same for every branch, we’re allowed to leave now though, just have to sign out and back in with 10:00 curfew

One question I have: is this the primary (or only) hotel associated with this meps station? Or are there multiple hotels?

There are multiple. Each region will have a specific MEPS location, so for my region, this is the same hotel everyone in all branches will go to

I have a question, so for The air force asvab I have to study “Mechanical Administrative General Electrical” and that makes up the MAGE score ??

NO Those are the aptitude areas...basically the 4 categories that the jobs fall into Just to pass the asvab, I you only need to study for the AFQT, which are 4 sections of the ASVAB -Word Knowledge -Paragraph Comprehension -Mathematics Knowledge -Arithmetic Reasoning These 4 are the only ones you need to pass...all the other categories on the test just help know you where you are most knowledgeable to help decide jobs that may fit you more.
