Meraginasu Vs. Storm Light Hammer - Monster Hunter Frontier ZZ - メラギナス ハンマー ソロ【MHF-Z】

This is my first attempt at doing a speedrun for Monster Hunter Frontier ZZ. So far I have been streaming the game and it has seriously been a blast. If you haven't, I really recommend you watch the VODs of my playthrough on my channel, or catch me while I'm live.
One of the monsters that really left an impression on me the first time I did it on stream was Meraginasu. This monster is a "Burst" species of Espinas, meaning it is a cousin with completely unique abilities.
It has a really cool moveset, it isn't particularly fast, and has good tells on its attacks. Monster movesets are so vast in this game that it's sometimes a little awkward for a new player like me to tell which move a monster is about to do.
I like Meraginasu because it's one of the first (alongside Zerureusu), completely unique and new monster I fought that really had the right amount of speed and unique moveset for me, so far. Not to say some of the harder monsters with even larger movesets or speed are bad ; Harudomerugu is one of my favorite monsters in the game right now and it has a gigantic moveset that I finally managed to learn.
Mera is a slightly awkward matchup for Hammer due to it being blind and sometimes seemingly targeting nothing, but I think I did pretty well nonetheless. This is using my current progression set, so obviously my damage is probably not at its maximum potential in this video.
I don't know if I will do more runs like this in the future, but I wanted to get at least one out to showcase this monster, Storm Style Hammer, and show the good people who are subscribed to my channel that I am currently playing through this game live. So don't miss out!

I wonder if the water jumping of from movement of anything moving in the room inflicts any damage. Since it is so clearly portrayed to move up with every swift move.
