2:30 gives me hope that Bullet Barrage will remain even after Sunbreak. Gunlance really needs that all powerful burst damage aside from plain old wyvern fire

Hell yeahhh, since i started using gunlance things got a lot easier, but extreme style has so many combos, you're a savior dude!

Haven't even gotten to HR5 yet, I discovered a bit myself but wasn't aware the 1-shell reload was in this version. And boosted Wyvern Fire let's go!!! Can't wait until I unlock the later styles though

There are so many mechanics in frontier that would be absolutely amazing for base monster Hunter. Blast dash after a hop for more distance? Adding full burst to a Wyvern fire for extra power? We need that kinda shit in baseline it’s actually criminal that we don’t.

I think an important note is that shelling as a whole falls off in the lategame, and you want to focus more on melee damage

Wow these are some neat new attacks for the Gunlance. I am a Main of the Gunlance while playing MH4U and Rise, I know that's a different game but some of the neat new moves would have really helped it in G Rank for MH4U

Accidentally used super wyverns fire without knowing what it was while trying to barrel bomb and i was astonished

You forgot to mention that during Wyvernfire you have Super Armor as well as I-Frames after shot, can be used for timed dodge/attack. It's impractical but it's there, been using it back in the past when game was still online.

So this video is how I just found out that all the thought's of "it would be cool if gunlance could ..." i had while playing World and Rise, were already in this game. Specifically the elemental GL,the extreme wyvern fire and the thermal blade . I really hope these come back for Wilds.

Elemental shelling ammo!? Why is this not in the mainline series, it could literally solve one of the biggest issues of shelling ammo that being it does fire damage.

After the swipe I pressed B/Circle, I was using a long type gunlance and it only had 1 bullet left so it only shot 1 bullet. Using that move will always use the remaining ammo you have left, so a normal gunlance will do a full ammo burst.

The 9:33 is the wyvern fire input, you have to spam B/Circle to upgrade it, it upgrades twice. You also need to have a lot of ammo as each upgrade consume ammo.

When you charge wyvern fire you can add ammo into it, each ammo added increases damage. Since normal has the most ammo it makes it the best for using wyvern fire.
