Chanel to me sort of feels like the Plane Jane of the UK. She knows how to start drama and make good TV, and isn’t afraid to push buttons to do so. I can see how she’s pretty polarizing this season as a result. Given the edit Kitty Scott-Claus is getting on Global All-Stars for presenting a similar persona, I can only imagine the response she’d get from editors who don’t get that approach.

I go by RuPaul’s phrasing when it comes to lip sync “wins” “This is your last chance to impress me and save yourself” it’s been years since Ru has said that the winner of the lip sync is the one who stays (like season 1 long ago). You can do better in a lip sync, but if it doesn’t impress Ru enough, she and the producers may be inclined to let the other contestant stay, especially when it aligns better with story and track record. With Pythia vs Vanity just recently, if Vanity didn’t impress Ru like she did, I think there’s a chance Pythia would have stayed, even if Vanity did a little better.

and on that note, the runway is similar where if you were clearly the best in the challenge, you usually only need a safe or at least inoffensive runway to win that week, but a really spectacular outfit can propel you a lot in the rankings. of course this principle is grounds for a lot of riggory and inconsistency but i feel like that's the general rule established by the show.

Here’s the thing. I believe they’re using the Colombian studio editors, who worked on both Mexico, Germany and Brazil. So if some of these editors are seeing those they’ve already worked with being misjudged, they’re giving them good edits and those who are being favoured bad edits. Hence why the edit has made a ton of the eliminations seem unwarranted.

This is the most excited I’ve been with UK since season 2. I totally agree, it’s hard to even pinpoint frontrunners at the moment except for maybe Kyran, who really didn’t even need her immunity even if Saki Yew stayed. Also Lill for winning and being very close to the first win. It feels like anyone’s game and that’s also what made Canada 4 so exciting.

The last UK season to only have regular eliminations was season 1! Ginny quit during the lipsync, Victoria was made to leave for medical, Baby quit before the lipsync, and Miss Naomi did actually lipsync but she was injured so it was more of a mercy kill, and now Saki has left for medical reasons. It’s a good thing the UK doesn’t have health insurance, this show would be expensive lol

As far as the UK Lip Sync, I think the top 3 were blindsighted to have to even think about having to lip sync, and that contributed to the lip sync not being so great. In fact, since they weren't even told until they got back out there, the drama in untucked could have actually spawned the decision - we know production loves to be shady!

I enjoyed uk this week House of zen (Chanel o'connor,Lill & Marmalade) we're deffintiley the stand outs of the week all 3 had the most polished and well constructed outfits for me. I'd say Charra tea,La voix,Dita garbo,Rileasa slaves,Kyran thrax we're solid safes for me. Zahira zapanta also had a safe look but a little too safe i liked the styling but thought the presentation was sloppy. As for both Actavia and Kiki snatch they were both most deffinilty bottom 2 even dare say golden boot worthy...Red carpet where? I got small child playing dress up when Ru said Kiki's look was giving ET i howled because it was so on point. As for the Top 3 lipsync it was fine it wasn't my favourite 3 way lipsync i think it's safe to say if eitherof them land in the bottom 2 against someone like say Actavia or Kyran or Rileasa then they'll be the ones going home. But out of the 3 Lill was deffinitley the strongest performer for me. Chanel held her own and gave an adequate performance but i don't even know what was going through marmalades head she must've drunk from the same glass zahira drunk from before the runway because it was just messy boots. Over all happy for lill but i'm ready to start seeing queens going home and start thinning out the herd.

I feel like Miss Kristo saw that iconic episode with the siren from Love, Death & Robots and decided to remake it. But there were three huge issues. First of all, the episode is so mesmerizing because the siren's moves are so clean, fast and sharp. But at the same time they're alluring and dangerous too. It creates this enticing aura about Her. And Miss Kristo never delivered that and, honestly, it looked like she didn't have the necessary training for it. Second of all, the siren's outfit is literally everything. It is beyond opulence and abundance. It's neverseen and never to be had again. And Miss Kristo sadly came in a bodysuit. And it looked sad. Third and final, from what I remember, when the siren dances.. it is violent and flirtatious and it doesn't end well for either partner. But Miss Kristo went with what looked like a contemporary dance and it just didn't match the story. Or the song. (sorry for this rant, I have nothing against Miss Kristo, I was just wondering if anybody else thought of that LD&R episode)

i believe mera has said before it's done for the youtube algorithm: (a) group less popular franchises with the main ones and (b) put the popular franchises towards the end of the video. otherwise people wouldn't click and/or watch til the end of the video, and youtube doesn't like that. i personally watch the full recap cause their commentary is interesting regardless but there's nothing bad or difficult about skipping to the half point? mera's thumbnails and video titles usually reflect the popular franchise clearly...
