1992 2.6 I did the same repair, I actually heard the original regulater snap, new one works perfectly. Good video Vito

I don't mind commercials, Vito, because I know you make your money off them, but I really hate when they break in when you are talking! Lol These old benzes have the regulators bolted in. The newer ones are riveted. What a pain. The back ones only have about 4 holding them and are not to hard to drill out. The front ones have at least 8 rivets and I kinda ended up screwing up the holes on my front passenger side. Next time I will know to punch out the center of the rivet before drilling it. Looks like that insulation got tangled in the regulator and caused it to get bent. You may have been able to straighten it out to tighten the cable. Oh well. New ones are not to expensive. That oil looked pretty nasty. How's the car running now?

Hi Vito! Will a semi synthetic vs a fully synthetic have a great difference? Do they both work perfectly? Have a 2.6 m103 engine. Also not sure how much Liters is needed... Really hoping you could help

Hi there. Use full synthetic 10W-30 oil. You should buy about 8L of oil. Engines like thicker oil

Hey Vito I was wondering if you can direct me in my power window issue . I have 89 190e 2.6 my window rolls down but not up but once in awhile it will roll back up out of the blue . Today I slammed the door hard and the window rolled up . Could this be a regulator or broken switch problem?

@@AlonSOAMAZING The problem is usually with the switch itself. Try playing with the switch. I don’t know if slamming the door was the coincidence of fixing the window. I haven’t really seen the motors go bad. I think you have a problem with that switch. You can always swap the switches around and see if the problem gets fixed. Then order a new switch.

Haven't watched the video yet. I assume this is a customer's car. Be sure to clean and lube the monowiper transmission. Mine quit on the way to work tonight on 294/ tristate. That sucked.
