Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I guess the spring retainer (washer side) must face the filter, as per manual indications. The small part of the spring must face the canister end, fixed/snaped in the bolt groove. So the washer you placed afterwards does not belong there, since your spring already had a washer. I'm using this order: Bolt end - sealing ring (steel) - canister - spring retainer with washer assembly towards the filter - filter with small opening on the bolt - oring on canister. The cooper washers are to be used depending on the engine you have. Normally, in the end, you get one cooper washer remaining, depending on the pan bolt. This is what I learned, but I may be wrong :) Have a good one!

I thought so too, but do I need to place a washer INSIDE the housing BEFORE I put the spring ? or no washer there inside ? And if I have to place the washer, is it the copper or steel washer which I place there inside ?

How do you check the engine oil level? Should the engine be running and idled while checking for level?Thanks for the great video.

You dont need ramps. Just have the driver front and rear wheels on the curb. This will give you plenty of room to crawl underneath and do the oil change
