Thank you Victor for the great video . I like it when you explain what tools to use and etc. No worries about the tools , I use Snapon , and cheap tools also. Now it's going to be easier to know what exactly to do , if I have to take the throttle body out of my 1995 SL320 . I am so happy that my car doesn't have the ASR option . The build date is 08/94 and titled as a 1995 . Thank you again for the great video .

hi Victor, this will be helpful i can feel it. too bad you didn't show what you did to the throttle body after you took it out. i press the gas pedal but no responds until i press it further. if you can tell what you did to the throttle body to get it working fine again it will be good. cheers

Hi Victor 1990 sl300 .throttle response poor it has too much slack on the 2piece connecting rod because cruise /electronic throttle doesn't actuate when accelerator pedal is pressed asr light on .trouble code rear speed sensor fault.throttle body replaced Rotational angle sensor replaced

Hi Victor, your videos are incredibly illuminating and a God-sent for me, my 95 SL320 was shifting improperly, key on, not running, clanging (broken clock sound) from under intake, come and goes. Found throttle body as noise source, will probably remove TB to inspect. Any thoughts sir ? thank you Edit (12/14/20) noisy rattle in TB has stopped, still idles smooth, Removed throttle body, cleaned throat, butterfly that was somewhat covered in gas residue. The trans has been shifting erratically only up to 3rd, no 4th or overdrive, presumably limp mode. Not sure if TB is the cause, thanks

Blown out compression rings' lots of oil in side that cover supposed to be dry.dead motor rebuild time

@@garywillier4303 Old video. But after the throttle body was repaired the engine runs perfect, has full power, no smoke. PCV system could use some cleaning but the engine is fine.
