The thing I hate is that it looks just like a normal e200 or e350, in my country people add AMG kits, remove the badging and mod their exhaust. Then people put an E63s and an e350 in the same league because they look nearly identical. At least the e53 has different reverse taillights that cant just be an aftermarket addon If they just put the e63s in the e53 body, that would be perfect

450hp i6 vs 612 hp v8, comparing the younger brother against the older brother! Makes me wonder what's on people's mind to think that it was a competition between the two instead of a simple demonstration of the differences between those amazing cars. People also forget that only very recently cars like this (family cars) have been built with such powerful engines. Those are as much power as the super cars of a few years ago. Compare the E53 amg with some older ones and you will see how fast it really is and how much the e63s has improved in comparison with other amg of previous generations.

Yeah there's no contest - the E63S is just an animal. The rate it accelerates to 300 kmh is awesome. The E53 is a good performer too when you consider it only has a 3 liter in line six motor.

Just bought a 2020 E53 sedan in Beverly Hills. Went in to get the 2020 E63s. Easily able to pay for either. Research/calls with three dealers. Two said the E63s would depreciate by 30-$35k in year one. Not worth the $40k difference in price. Like most Americans, HP and speed ratings are numbers that most wont ever be put to use. Nice to have king of the hill bragging rights but at what point. My two cents.

Varon you need to consider that not everybody will buy this car. Most People will lease/finance it. When you lease a car it belongs to the car brand, even if you are in the title. When you finance a car, the car still belongs to the brand until the point comes where you „outpaid“ the car and it fully belongs to you. Before it fully belongs to you, you are not allowed any changes/modifications on the car, i.e: no aftermarket exhaust.

why are people comparing an E63 VS E53???? the video was made to show the difference between this and a full AMG version. anybody seen the difference between a M3/4 and an M sport 340i? the M is their lower brand/entry level into Msport ownership. like audi S VS RS....all AMG did was to introduce the 43/53 range as the entry level or introduction to AMG brand. then oneday the client will go to the full AMG models. i dont get it. is everyone so narrow minded? the V8 will always be their Halo brand.....well till the C63 4cylinder hybrid comes out(freaking sad day........). but till then. also blame the eco nutters out there for that. nobody is saying shit about the pollution of ships,100 times worse than cars i think. also they responsible for the particulate filters asw ell(our wonderful eco friends).

I don't think the e53 coupe would exist if there was a e63 coupe, just like the s63, and how there is no s53. The E63 is only slightly less fuel efficient than the 53 and does literally everything better. Great daily but a nice spec would cost near double the base price of the 53. But when you're buying an amg, everyone wants the full rocket ship, not a fast half ass, just bc they get to flex
