From words fastest real world car, I understand how convenient is the car especially the suspension/ground clearance. Even Subaru WRX CVT version to be said the suspension hard as rock. Not suitable for daily drive more on track use.

Chick Kam Loong Exactly, it served as a working backup if your smart key /keyfob suddenly running out of juice. But for Audi, , it has a specific spot for you to put the fob at and depress the brake and start the car. I’m not sure about BMW tho haha.

The Golf R and Focus RS will of course be compelling ... this GLA45 is the "How to go fast for dummies" of the lot ... you don't need a lot of skills to drive extremely fast and safe. :)

If you're a viewer from Malaysia then the Q5 you mean will be the first generation, which means the GLA250 is a more stylish, newer option even if it's not as comfy or big. If you're from another country, then it means you're talking about the new Q5, then of course! Go ahead!

How about the handling? Does it understeer much? How about the grip levels? Have you cornered it to the absolute limit? Steering feel, precision and feedback? I would pay that kind of price if the handling can put a smile on my face (I'm a handling addict I corner cars to the limit when I see no other cars on the road. how can you not mention the amount of hard plastics there are on/around the centre console & the way the dashboard is designed where it doesnt match up the front door panels Bobby? and the fact that the door frames are exposed on the interior is just ridiculous... and not to mention its 400k. and p/s the dashboard is covered in Artico leather which means fake leather

+jeremy it's an A Class segment car; by default, a 1 series wont have as good an interior as a 3 series; and if no one tells you the dashboard is man made leather you wouldn't know. The RM150k premium from the A250 is for that crazy engine and drivetrain. You hop into an M2 or M3 or RS4 you cant expect an interior that corresponds to their asking price.

Yup, Bob is right, at around 400k, a stock 2L 4 cyclinder engine firing 381hp is by far the best deal or in fact the best 4 second car you can ever get. If you're a car enthusiast, you probably realize that the A, CLA, and GLA belong to the mini AMG, similar to the 135i M sport, M2, or the RS3, and hence, you can't really expect the interior of higher end AMG models to be incorporated into models that fall within the RM300-400k range.

well, if you take a careful look at the back of the middle console in the new E-class W213, I guess you'll be disappointed as well, as you're paying 400k for some plastic finish. Frankly speaking, if you're really expecting your interior to be covered in leather, alcantara, or some other fancy synthetic materials, you should go for nothing below the s-class.

+wei wen loh no the ES' engine is of course not as smooth sounding as the 2.5V6; just that for its price, the GS's engine isnt as appealing as rivals. The ES on the other hand, had its merits entirely on this one liner "who says you cant have flagship legroom at premium entry price?" The ES isnt as nice to drive as the GS, but its entire proposition is comfort and quiet and uncle, and it does it so well. Lexus themselces practically killed the GS with the ES because thats what most buyers are looking for, a quiet and comfortable ride. Another thing is the GS's fake engine noise, it's always there like it or not. Meanjng even if you travel at legal speeds fetching your grandma, its constantly making it sound like you're racing.

IT SY: I’ve just bought a 2018 GLA45. It’s a stunning daily driver and still able to take stuff down to the dump when needed. The modes: Comfort - still a fast car, but the perfect mode for urban and boring commutes. You don’t want the car shouting at you all the time. You want a bit of peace and quiet and it delivers pace with grace in this mode. Sport - Crikey, now you’re talking. When I go out onto the back roads around where I live it’s put into sport and left in automatic. It lifts its skirts up and flies and in all honesty gives me the same amount of fun as my BMW motorbike. But still it won’t break your spine or be too "shouty". Sport+ - Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. It flies, add the manual flappy paddle options and it’s remarkably childish. But delivers in a splendid Mercedes “loud man in a well cut suit” sort of way. Truly it burps and farts it’s way up and down the gears and delivers a perfect smile every time you drive it in that mode. The traffic in UK being what it is you might only have a couple of miles before you need to calm it down. But that’s the delights of buying an AMG with a hand built engine. So, buy it - you will not be disappointed.

in my opinion in a real world test i think golf gti is the best...since you talked about going from point A to point B and getting there as quick as possible. In cities where traffic, speedhumps,etc come into factor horsepower doesnt mean anything because youre not using full 381hp while going from point A to Point B. What matters is how it handles it overall. handling? Golf gti handles better than gla45. there's a reason why golf gti is killing supercars on nurburgring. all stats makes up golf gti in favor of real life city situation. Sure Gla45 has clearance for speedhumps but how many speedhumps are you going to hit every 5 minutes? size of gti makes it easy to navigate to smaller places without worrying. Sure golf gti is not in the same segment of gla45 but your video says "fastest city car" and having driven both and many cars have to say golf gti is better there. just my opinion really.

you are not fully utilizing all 381hp only if you don't hit 6000 rpm, but I'm pretty sure flooring the accelerator in sport or manual mode definitely brings you from point A to point B way quicker than a golf gti does.

+god blessme A45's low suspension travel and lighter weight means on the track it will definitely be faster. But the GLA45's ride height means in the real world, it has the advantage over speed bumps, big road undulations etc - the GLA45 can brake less in the real world, hop less on highspeed highway driving when going over uneven patches.
