I watch this channel regularly and I think it's awesome! Just wondering if you could put up some telemetry? Not sure if its against regulations or such but it would make watching even more interesting. @@KalvickQT the cable is like an old keychain in the ignition, you can sense the g forces when it moves around. it's just a joke though, a keychain would be a better g-force indicator. the other guy said the weight of a cable tie (which you could use to stop the cable from moving) would offset the weight distribution of the car even though a cable tie probably weighs as much as a feather. I like the weight balance joke.

God it’s so dangerous with the slower cars on the track, i know that’s what the nurburg is all about cmon....this driver nearly lost it and sent it into the barrier at 150kph + just trying to get around them, surely safety can be improved?

the gears in the transmission are cut straight. road cars have a helical cut, that reduces noise significantly, but is less efficient.

Michael Cuff No, I think you misunderstood me completely. The team can’t change the gear ratio, so how long the gears are. The driver is operating the sequential gearbox manually with paddles on the steering wheel. It’s just that the mechanics in the garage can’t make the gears longer and shorter.
