Awesome attention to detail. Can you show how you take a thin piece of wire and put a head on the end? Towards the end you cut a thin piece of metal, put a wire through it then you showed it with with a head to stop the sheet metal falling of the end. It was from 19mins 23 seconds in the video. Thanks Philip

Amazing details as always A4. One of the more difficult challenges for me is simply finding good detail photos of the things detail modelers want to see. I have a large format coffee table book of the 300SL with countless beauty shots of opened gullwing doors on fancy lawns but only three(!) pictures under the hood and they are so small and far away I can't tell what goes to what. can you recommend a useful book or site for good source material? I'm looking forward to your dashboard and the door strut mechanism you will make. This car has so much potential.

It is such a delight--no, an exhilarating joy!--to watch you work. Even beyond your extraordinary tutelage in model kit super-detailing, these videos serve for me as enjoyable entertainment. My life is terribly difficult and upset- ting for me. These offer me the fun, if only vicariously, that brightens my spirits. Your twofold efforts--the mod- elling and the videos--are genuinely therapeutic for me! One question: how do you know what the various shapes and lengths are? And the dimensions? I assume you researched extensively. Could you devise the means to disseminate widely these methods. Perhaps books and DVD compilations with the editor- ial and production staff of FineScale Modeler magazine, or similar entities.
@A4Garage2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your kind words. I make it by looking at various angles of photos collected on the Internet. There are no dimensions or drawings. So it's not the exact size, but I'm just measuring it with my eyes.
