I'd say the Mercedes braking is more impressive considering the test is done at 80 km/h versus the Volvo's test performed at 60 km/h. In the extended video for the Volvo the host only sets his cruise control at 50 km/h. One thing not mentioned for the Mercedes though is how much the safety truck weighs as Volvo stated theirs is 40 tons. Both trucks have impressive systems and I wish trucks like these would be introduced in the US.

Que os jode a los "volvistas" que Mercedes tenga productos tan buenos como los Volvos. Alegraos por el progreso simplemente!!!!Desde que me licencié en Industriales en Malaga he trabajado para ambas marcas, en Manheim para Mercedes, primero y ahora para Volvo. Ambas marcas son insuperables.

Konečně ty gumy za volantem nebudou zbytečně mařit životy! Ale bojím se jednoho, to zase bude gum co budou mít nohy na palubce a myslet si, že to za ně někdo ubrzdí! Navrhuji dát tam cvičené opice, to vyjde nastejno, tedy levněji pro dopravce a bude bezpečněji!

matt Roostai yes on the two axled truck like I said. This system may work on this lightweight truck and dry pavment but not on the really heavy trucks. 20-30 tons extra makes a huge different when it comes to the braking part.
