firstly I wanted to apologies for the excessive use of the word actually .... I'm still getting use to making videos ... i will try much harder in future not to do so......for the rolling of windows up and down u hold the unlock button to roll Windows down and lock to roll them up...alot of these so called features can be found in your owners manual... so be sure to read it..however some are hidden features/secrets....enjoy!!

No one mentioned Brake Hold? Come to a full stop and then slightly lift and press again. A "HOLD" message will show up on the speedometer and you can then press the accelerator to pull away smoothly. No more numb foot at lights!

i did mention this ..its called hillassist ..hence why wen u step on the brake ..it HOLDS for a split second ..then let's go... on facelift models it will display HOLD ..ON PREFACE it simply holds. its designed for hills so u don't roll back and accidentally hit the car behind u

Another great feature is that the hood to the engine compartment can be raised to a vertical position by pushing it up beyond the first resistance. Some models require you to push a release lever on one or both sides.

Hi, yoo, nice to do such video!! One Feature we could also add is Auto Volume increase - there is setting in audio system that one can select if to increase music volume with noise increse or no.. so if select yes - audio will be "adaptive" so to say.

just test for it ..if the fuse has power wen the car is off then it is a constant power source not switched

steering wheel just carbon fiber facelift custom wheel and paddle shifter and fo u side markers..are u sure same interior with flip up screen ? cuz usually 2011 is the facelift unless u got an early 2011 made and it's still prefaceloft with 3 spoke steering wheel and flip up screen

As you actually said the actually was annoying but at least you didn't say "like" all the time. Other than that it was a good video and very helpful. I have a 2014 W204 C250 CDI Coupe and every time I get in I have to go through a sequence of... hand bake off...ECO off...gearshift into sport....suspension into sport....sunroof open. I wish I could preset that.

usually battery flat but wen u drive for abit it readjusts itself..unless there an underlying issue..that's for the abs esp bas etc..but for runflats and ps I'm not sure never had the issue... wen I disconnect my battery sometimes I get the esp bas abs error but wen I drive for abit and eventually do a full lock to the left and right it readjusts and the error goes away

@MIKEYZVLOGZ the ps and runflats are deactivated due to the original issue. Was thinking was a wheel sensor issue. Eg. If you have a slightly flat tyre, wheels don't rotate at the same rate thus triggers one error then another.

so u are trying to play music from oyur phone via bluetooth? is that correct? i think the facelift model 2014 can do that , however my model did not have that, it strictly only had bluetooth connectivity to answer phone calls tbh im not too sure, i would have to be there in person to give it a go and find out how its done but im sure it can be done as long as u have the newer facelift model with the bluetooth connectivity

hmmm i dont have a car with internet from factory...my car is older and i cannot access internet...but i did get a phone mirrolink installed with the help of a shop and i can mirro my phone now to internet and display whatever is on my phone onto the flip up screen... the newer models i think 2012 onwards can use internet i think ...ther only way to use internet for older prefacelift is by upgrading car head unit or using phone mirrorlink ...but if you do that u need to upgrade a few things abit more exspensive

Hey mate, my AMG line from 2012 imported from German, not have the feature from the mirrors, wen put the back reversing.... I have to test if my windows wen open, if not use the key close to the door wen press the key... But very nice to see this tips. Continue the cool stuff. Hugs. ;)

As for day time running lights I guess the reason your cluster lights came on was because it activated head light as well. Happened to my face lift w204. As long as day time running lights are switched to ON my head lights are ALWAYS on even in bright day light. It's a Japanese import I'm not sure if it's a regional software setting or simply my auto light sensor is broken.

Mikey, first off thank you for all your helpful videos you’ve posted on your channel. I have a question, at exactly 10:10 in your video your demonstrating a multi media interface. My question to you has to do with the black little triangular glove box latch actuator that latches your box into place. When I bought my c250 they were missing and by box has a slight drop to it when its closed. It annoys the heck at of me lol. I’ve searched everywhere for them and seems you have to order a whole new box to get those little inserts. Would you happen to know the proper name for them or where I can find them by any chance. You have a 2011 correct? It’s pre-facelift but has some facelift items, like the LED strips and parking sensors. I own a 2010, when I get my car back from wrap shop eager to see if the headlight cleaning unit is there... but I think that’s for facelift bumpers.

actually mine is a 2010 pre face but with the amg sports package ..i believe it is one of the latest models hence why theres led strips ...the leds side markers i did myself with the help of a shop after i pulled off my front bar and wired it to my front fuse box

sounds like something is wrong with the sensor for traction ..I actually don't know what that might be ... sorry I couldn't be more helpful.. I would have someone take a look at it then fix it myself ..that way they can sus the issue ... but has to be someone you can trust

Its supposed to do that to keep ur tires from spinning. To fix it u can just turn it off the light will (!) stay on till u trun it off

How did you switch your auto into manual? And do we drive it and switch it with a clutch?

manual is tiptronic not actual manual like a stick shft 5 or 6 speed, there button i have on my auto gear shifter panel and it shows M - S- C manual shifting to sport to comfort, once shift to manual its tiptronic, so no you dont have a clutch , you simply push the gear shifter left or right and it goes up and down gears up to 7 gears accordingly , i do a demo in my part 2 of this special features

I think you are mistaken by that “manual trunk boot release” thing. The key inside your keyfob won’t actually open the boot if in case you have a dead keyfob or your car’s battery is totally drained. Have you ever tried manually opening the rear trunk using the key?

yes ... i just meant that u can open your trunk using the key in the keyfob... it works ... i wi double check whether it needs to be unlocked firstbut im pretty sure it can open it

ok so u can definitelt open the boot trunk with your emergency key in your keyfob ..i locked the car and was still able to open the boot with the key ....

I have a 207 and 208 and the key opens the locked cars trunk/boot, even with the battery pulled on the fob. I have not tried it without the car battery because I'm unwilling to do that and have some weird crap happen. Imo it's a mechanical key lock so I can't imagine it would not work, so I guess yours is different or maybe it's broke in some weird Mercedes way? Weird...

Your means hilla ssist are active is once I stopped and released the pedal brake, the car will not move even in drive mode or unshift to neutral?

no so hill assist is when your on a hill the car will sense that your on a hill... this is when your in drive (D) and your car wont roll back .... until u accelerate ...that way eliminating the fear of rolling back into someone .... thats what i meant.... sorry i shouldve been more clear

you will get use to the feature .. to be more specific...hill assist is designed to hold your car in the same spot for a short period of time or until you accelerate.... and once u accelerate it will move forward.... this is what i was trying to say...i may have chosen the wrong words ... but u will understand once u use hillassist

You can also adjust/set the mirror for that lowered position. I have mine set to lower maybe half way since that works better for me. Mine is a 207 but I assume they all do it?

Nice vid mate. But if I'm right, the side mirror folding feature works only with the Memory modul. So, if you don't have memory seats then your side mirrors will not fold for the Reverse signal. If I'm wrong, then sorry :D

hey there friend ... so it wont sync to your samsung note 5? u have a 2012 so bluetooth connects and plays music through your audio system correct? it should be as simple as searching and adding .... have u tried clearing old recognized phones ? sometimes it can only read a certain amount of phones

@@MIKEYZVLOGZ Yes, it can only move to M for manual mode but cannot go to Comfort mode. It is really frustrating. Also the button on the stereo is on sport mode and cannot be deactivated. It is permanently on, could that be the issue? How can I deactivate it?

@@herbertmburu2224 try and pull the relay of fuse that is related to the gear selector..its just a guess ... but u may just need to go to a reputable mechanic ..who knows what they are talking about and have a scan tool for mercedes ... so they can see of you ha e any electrical faults causing the issue

I have questions, I found the auto dimming function doesn’t work for my side mirror after I install the electric rear mirror(70mai). Is any solution to keep the original auto dimming function work as normal?

is that the unit that sits on top of the rear view mirror ...the auto dimming is built into the rear view mirror ...that's why if u cover it u won't have it no more .... maybe try find a device like 70mai with auto dimming ...if that's what u want... I think the sensor works off the middle rear view mirror as there is a sensor built into it and wen u cover that the auto dimming won't work for the side either
