In my opinion its one of the most amazing cars ever made, also beautyfull, comfortble, sporty look and 610BHP, what else can you want more in a car that you can use daily? i also think that in the future the value of a good 65 AMG can go up, might be worth keeping this car!

Can I make a suggestion....... Add some spacers to the rear wheels to bring them out flush with the arches! 👌

Pretty good so far - no Bluetooth streaming but a triple RCA input in the glovebox (video plus L/R audio) which is very unusual. Have a Bluetooth dongle hooked up and it sounds OK to be honest! Good enough for me anyhoo!

The Parking sensors work by an Radar System. Thats why yout dont see the ,,normal´´ dots on the rear bumper.

What are some issues or things to look out for when owning this car? I'd be interested to get one later down the line, but haven't heard many good things about the reliability with AMG V12's.

They're perfectly reliable. The V12 has a weakness with coil packs, and a o-ring buried in the engine. Mine has been mint for 3 years, but i do have a slight oil leak that is related to that o-ring i'm going to have to fix sometime (its nothing major so dont have to rush).

Pretty sure there would be circles in your rear bumper for park sensors - your bumper may have been replaced

Thanks for sharing this but, just to put you straight, there was never an optional ‘carbon fibre’ package offered for the exterior. The front lip and boot spoiler are aftermarket add-ons and no really in keeping with the CLs intended audience.

I think the facelift has improved styling (front lights etc) but the engine drivetrain and interior is pretty similar - has some additional tech like blind spot and lane keep assist - would definitely go for post 2011 if you can find one! But both are great!

Even tho its an older amg, these cars a very pricey to maintain! I have an older 2006 cls55 and thats alot of money to maintain, i can only image what the cost for this!

Yes ! I have 05 clk55 amg and i put up a bit of cash at 100,000 miles w/ plugs wires , tires , brake and trans flushes and upper control bushings .really could use struts as im at 120,000 miles now and its hitting those bumps ! Still love the car though.

The hidden park sensors was a dealer option for extra cost. IMO money well spent as I’ve have to replace two sensors on my old Q7.

Enjoy it? Actually I waited for the traction control to be off and for the engine to be floored! What did I get? A guy who is to fearful to floor it more than 2 seconds, what a let down.
