Thank you, especially for the greasing part! To retract the piston, I used a small screw press instead (not sure how to call it). Worked like a charm, the new Brembo pads are better than the OEM I took off!!! PS: for the rear axle, one extra step is needed, to retract the E-Brake - watch other videos to learn how to do it!

Do you know what the specs are for the bolts at what tightening torque it must be I can’t find it any where!? It’s for a W176 A180 2014 the brake pad calipers en break disc

@@PTGjasper for me, the W117 CLA 200 requires 130 Nm of torque on each bolt. This is written in the car's manual, see the Tyres/Wheels section or similar.

Don't need to bleed because you don't open nothing where is hidraulic liquid

Wouldn’t want this guy working on my car. First he just lets the caliper dangle from brake line. Then he cleans nothing. Should have cleaned the pad holder and pins before putting grease on them. I never saw anybody retract the piston that way using the rotor as leverage. What else did I miss! Yikes get that Benz out of there. 😱

This video is tutorial for enthusias with basic knowledge and tools how to do it yourself and be proud that they replaced brake pads and if you think the brake caliper need to be cleaned try your self and take the car to the high way and brake couple of times at 120 km per hour and check how clean they are

according to me he did good job without some expensive tool and show that anyone can change instead of paying a lot of money for half hour work
