I drove my wife's old w220 yesterday from Vienna to Hamburg. 1150km ( 715mls) in 8:45. Std seats, double glazed. No headache, no backache, just a normal evening back at home. Can't really say better than that.

My W140 S600 and w220 D600 guard are jewels with 4 whelles ......i search a w221 but in more, in my parking ,,,not for replace on of both

It still looks like a modern car. I think this is the last S-Klasse with timeless design. Every time I look at it, I think: What else do you need? And the answer is nothing.

This car is really a superb and beautiful to drive and own, its luxury , safety , design, and the fact its an S class, the top in the Benz line, i have a new 2014 Ml-Class , a Bmw F10 5series , even this s class car is 10 years++ older its still drive and seat better than car these day, as long you maintaine it well it is The Best Or Nothing! It really is....

I like the W220 S500 4Matic one. But i prefer more Lexus 2008 LS460.

I just bought a W220 430L and it supremely comfortable to drive. I love it a lot. Not as good as a W140 in my opinion but it feels more modern in terms of luxury so I give it that.
