My clip broke off just the plastic can I just replace the clip cause the switch still work even with the broken clip

Shouldn’t you be able to do this without taking out the door panel?

No. The switch only comes out in 1 direction. You can try your luck but risk damaging the interior lining but I don't recommend it.

Thanks Wayne how about if I press the key fob or the side button to open the trunk it just releases and does not open. But if I open manually it will open and close without any problem
