Great review Tom. I really liked the table section when you put the 0-100 times and weights against segment competitors. I'd like to see you guys do some scoring in a table against segment competitors with things like cabin noise, seat comfort, ride quality, handling etc as well if that's possible! I imagine many watching these videos are wondering how they compare to other cars you've tested that are similar.

Been watching all the reviews on this channel for very long time now , would love to see GLB 200 review too please? Cant find much about it on YT .

Another good review Tom. However I can't understand MB not including electric front seats as standard at this price point. Toyota includes this feature in RAV4 Cruiser Hybrids so surely MB could also. Another miss is the charging speed as you point out, not convenient on longer journeys.

Hey Tom, almost a year on do you think the EQB is still a good buy for a compact 7-seater? What are the alternatives these days?
@HelloMyFriend_ Жыл бұрын
Get a used EQB for sure. Nothing beats it price wise. Kia EV9 is way too expensive and so is the ID Buzz long wheelbase. Perhaps an even more used model X.

I love the range and recharging test, it’s a great innovation. I’ll be watching all of your BEV videos 👍

Thanks for the video and the response in the previous video about the fbt for EV's. Keen to see comparisons from BYD through to Hyundai, Kia and Tesla etc.

Hi, whats the actual distance you can drive with this car in 100% charge in real life?
@unknownskyman2156 Жыл бұрын
Taking into account aircon or heating probably about mid to high 200s

What is the US price?

Seems to start at USD55K but I recommend checking that out for yourself, as we aren't experts on the US market

As Lexus owner(ICE) was hoping the new upcoming RZ450e would do better in the range test and charging test , however it looks like my first EV will be the EQB350 since Merc is determined to do more better efficient EV's.

Great review, really highlights strengths and weaknesses. How would this stack up vs the upcoming iX1 in your view?
@chasingcars2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Looking forward to driving the iX1 soon. For one thing the EQB is a bit bigger (by around 16cm). Hopefully the iX1 has a more comfy rear seat and better range.

Hope it works considering the issues they have in China and not selling in EU

Very informative review. I really liked every aspect of this review Tom. Well done. I also appreciate the range test you’ve developed which will be very helpful to potential EV owners to compare EVs. I agree that 250 is the one to get for all the reasons you’ve outlined. Could you please do a review of that? It will be interesting to see if it gets better range and if the ride suffers due to lack of four wheel drive. Again, thanks for the great review.

Thanks, Nikhil. I will try to get my hands on the EQB250.

Lots of Ev with no infrastructure to go with them😂

Look while I agree with what you say, what it’s going to come down is demand which finally turns into an election issue, if there is one thing in the world that makes things move faster, it’s making things an election issue and being a reason a politician comes into power or not. As it happens this is one of those things that are brewing for people in power so hopefully soon this won’t be an issue anymore.

@@TheXennner buddy Australia barely got the basics right yet. Let alone a complex electric charging stations infrastructure rollout to both suburbs cities and towns. In the size of Australia is almost comical .

This is the most blandest looking EV I've seen. It looks way too frumpy, unlike BMW's iX's which are taught and structured.
@chasingcars2 жыл бұрын
That’s OK. I think you’d find a lot of people for whom the iX is not their cup of tea.

Honestly, this Mercedes and the Bmw ix and ix1 are just ghastly to look at.

I think BMW design peaked with the F87 m2 (last gen), the G30 5 series 550 and current model x5. It's all going downhill now. Fussy, edgy, lacking subtle class and grace.
