Mercedes-Benz GLC 300e Plug-In hybrid | Fan Car On Genting | Nora's First Ride | YS Khong Driving

It all started with a comment on our channel, by Dan (Not his real name) asking me if I would like to drive his brand new Mercedes-Benz GLC 300e up our favorite mountain, and that was how, after some arrangements, we met at our usual push-off point, at the BH Petrol station for a refuel stop, and a coffee, set up our cameras, and set off on our mission.
Dan is a little shy, but that we have Nora, his lovely sister, who was our front seat passenger to enjoy the adrenaline rush of an exciting drive up Gentings.
There was heaps of power, and the vehicle handled quite well despite the extra height of being a SUV - of course it is never as stable as a hot hatch or a sedan, but it could scoot, and scoot we did.

Hi mr khong. I just viewed this vid today. This is the 1st time i watched twice. The 1st round watched till the end. The 2nd round i covered ur face shown at the down left corner of my tv screen and leave pn nora face alone. And i laugh thru the whole vid watching her reaction. Interesting drive. Great handling car and it has oodles of power. Also interesting to note how several drivers occupy the middle lane while driving at slow speeds. The bikkies and truckies were generally well behaved which makes the test drive less of a drama. Overall, the car (SUV) is impressive but the price tag could be somewhere around RM450k which I suspect will be somewhat out of reach of many people.

Thanks for watching. The ones going slow on the outer lanes are usually the blur ones - those who travel regularly keep to one side if going slow. Everybody has a right to be there, so we try to adjust to the situation, but have to be careful and alert all the time. Yes, the vehicle is good, and yes, it is only for those who can afford it. In the same vein, even an Axia is expensive to a guy who doesn't earn enough to afford one. Thanks for sharing your thoughts: we appreciate them.

Usually you net zero or just 1 or 2 kms power on the downhill, all the way ro the very bottom, near the toll.
