Hey! I have and 09 SL63 R230. Saying retractable roof lowing when I take the key out and then on the dash it stoped. My truck gets stuck exactly like your video. Flaps are good. Well before I had some zip ties and was cleaning my the sealers on my roof clear path for so water no water stuck. Getting inside a pillar corner with the zip tie & my convertible roof too looking getting inside the seal with zip ties. Then my next door neighbor wanted to talk to me. I had the truck open like that for 15 min then I try to close my roof nothing will close then finally then the roof finally closed but the truck still won’t go down like your video. I finally manually pushed it down but can’t put the trunk on fully because resistance pressure so the truck is down but not connected. Please advise what i should do?

My Mercedes slk 55 2door convertible hardtop, it opened fine but when I went to close it the trunk opened & the plastic shroud behind the seats came up also but that is all being in that position now it won't go up or down

Man, is there any way you can help me solve the same issue on a sl550 2013, the micro switch on front is working, the flap on the trunk is working. Already changed the trunk cylinder... it has oil, tried readin the codes no luck.

2008 clk350, opens, won't close. Doesn't even start to close. I've manually opened it, because I was having a problem with it opening. Now it opens fine from closed, but will not close.

@@DaBratNiy07 Not yet. I haven't had time with other vehicles breaking down and other life issues. Hopefully I don't have to take it to the specialist at $200 an hour. The codes I get show certain switches not activating, but with my scanner connected to the car, and I manually move the sections of the top to activate switches, the scanner shows when they are activated and deactivated. So I'm not sure why it says it isn't working, when I clearly see the scanner register the switches working. My other thought is a broken wire or two, somewhere along the hinges, where they may flex. I may need to verify constant continuity along the wires, while I try to wiggle the wires where it will move, to see if a broken wire shows up. If and when it's fixed, I plan to share what is found to be the problem.
