The C124 is beautiful clean and simple and I think maybe a 190E for the next build will be be nice or a E30 or maybe even a MK2 Golf.

We already have a couple of E30's in the fleet and a Mk2 Golf 16V. A Merc 190E is a good shout though 👍🏽

Well done. Iam a W126 fanatic (own 2 x gen2 Euro spec coupes & an 89 Euro 560SEL all AMG spec'd). However i have a soft spot for the W124 in coupe & sedan version with AMG bodykit & 3 piece rims and especially like the W124 when all the exteterior cladding & bumpers are painted to match the body paint. Yours is the most desirable colour other than 040 black. Swapping in replica E500 front Qtr panels would have allowed a bit more rim lip & bypassed having to deal with rust on your front Qtr panels but understand your were on a budget
