Mercedes-Benz W124 heater blower not working, Part 2 (resistor replacement)

In this mult-part series Michael is troubshooting a W124 heater blower issue. After bench testing the old blower motor we found that it was not the culprit. In this video we show you how to remove the resistor. Unfortunately, Michael does not have a replacement in stock, so Part 3 will be delayed until one arrives. What are the voltages do you have on the plug behind the break booster. Are these voltages coming from the control unit. I only get 12v on the middle pin and nothing on the other 2 pins. Is my control unit defective?

Welcome Can I use R134 gas instead of R12?

Your system will have to be converted over first. I recommend taking it to an A/C shop and having them do it.
