I knew the tricks long time ago and have been using it a lot of times. Most of them didn't worked!!! But from your video, you mentioned that we need to turn the keyfob to position 2, without ignition/engine running. These were missing in most other videos. And thank you, it works!

Sweet. Your vid confirmed my suspicion. Clicking noise for bout 60 sec when I turn the car on then it stops. Ran your test and it failed. Over two minutes and it would not complete. 2005 C240. My guess is the stepper motor actuating arm. Now I just have to figure out how to get to it. Subscribed and liked. Thanks!!!!

it could be the motor or could be the arm... replacing one of the motors seems to be difficult, on this car someone already done it before. so there was a drilled hole in the cross metal piece to allow for screw access. You might need to do the same.

Im stuck in a reset loop. My AC doesn’t blow cold air and I hear a constant clicking (Maybe arm/step motor). My main concern is no cold air and reset loop. Could this be my compressor or condenser?

I think these are 2 separate issues. AC not blowing cold air, need to check if the system has enough charge. The clicking noise during reset are faulty stepper motors or broken arms.

If someone overfilled the AC refrigerant will the system shut off the Compressor to keep from damaging it? if so how do you clear it when you have the correct amount of refrigerant in it?

Yes it will. Correct the refrigerant level and it should work. No need to clear anything.

Hi, I don’t know if you’re an expert but I’ve done this but waited for 2 minutes for the cycle to complete but it is still blinking. Also on an unrelated note, I got this loud airplane noise coming onto my W203, could it be a blower noise or something different?

If the reset cycle doesn't complete it means there's a problem...most common problem are the flap motors (worn plastic gears) or the links (broken)

I have a problem with a Mercedes c230 Kompressor 2004 ac climate control, the unit is completely unresponsive. Looks just like this one, doesn’t light up at all. Checked the fuses for it, they are fine. Also the module right above the radio is also totally unresponsive as well, none of the buttons work. What could the culprit be?

you need to use startek diagnostic to scan the system, otherwise its very hard to tell.

need help, im have problem with Mercedes W203 C320. When i turn on Air Conditioning , if blower on then compressor off. But when compressor on thne blower will off. What cause this ?

That is mostly likely due to a fault in the ac or HVAC climate control. The system is trying to protect the components or compressor from damage so it turns itself off. Try getting a recharge, if it works its mostly likely because you were low on gas

I'm getting a popping sound in the dashboard from the ventialation directors. after it cycles a bit after turning the car on it will always blow drivers side feet. But if I run this reset the popping keeps happening and the cycle doesnt finish so i'm fucked, probably another few hundred dollars in repairs.

Correct. Or you could just remove the lower driver's kick panel and fix it yourself. It is not hard. Youll need a T20 torx screwdriver or bit.

This is the most common problem on w203. Sometimes its the arm , sometimes its a plastic gear inside the step motor.

Check the cable that runs to the ignition lock, its most likely installed wrong, find my video for that

@KING MAYA BZE ™️ well, this is a reset procedure, if the system doesn't work, you have to figure out which components failed. If you didn't hear the fan running start from checking fuses, then Fan motor. Best to use Star Diagnostic scanner to diagnose, rather then throwing part and hope for best
