I too was a Lexus / MB etc owner... the dealerships are the culprit... they extract exorbitant fees for the crumbliest work... so I ditched them and bought a 2021 Tesla Model X where there are no dealerships to mark up sales prices, no middle men adding garbage to your car, no maintenance teams that salivate when you drive up... no tune ups, no mufflers, no coolant changes, not even brake pad or rotors as the motors slow down the car... I can go on and on... What I have paid thus far to the Tesla service center to date?... $0.00 dollars... every recall was done over the air with my X in the garage, never once did I need to go back... love this machine... Don’t be fooled by Hybrids, they’re not EV’s, you still have a money steeling ICE under the hood to keep antiquated dealerships alive... odious amigos! Tesla is where everyone pays the same price as the Tesla Corporate owns & runs everything... no independent dealer service with various mark-ups to worry about ... good luck! oh and BTW, that coolant fitting failed because the MB mechanic used the wrong metallic tool to remove it, probably from an earlier service appointment... its a pain to get to.
