Mercedes C230 Kompressor Valve Cover Gasket Replacement!

Sup guys. Planning on selling the Mercedes so I am doing maintenance videos for now. I replaced the valve cover gasket. Hope this video helps if not check this video out!

Nice video bro gonna do that this weekend starting out leaking on coil 1 then moved on to coil 4 guess its time to fix it it had gone into limp mode plugged the scanner n said misfire cleared it n runs good now but gotta take care of that issue

Love the Mercedes! What rims and tire specifications do you have on it?

Thank you. I am not sure what brand they are. 19x9 front and 19x10 rear if I remember correctly. They came with the car. Apparently they are Mercedes wheels but I haven’t found from what car.

Dawg please tell me how you did this at 1:43 this thing seems like its supposed to be fitted for life, no clips, no bolts just a rubber plug fitted with no way I see possible to get it off without breaking it 😖

It should be just like the top cover. Just pops off. It shouldn’t break. I don’t remember exactly how I pulled it off but try pulling it forward or up

I have a 06 Mercedes Benz c230 sport and the dealer told me I don’t need a gasket to use only sealant that they sell it for 45 dlrs

They’ll do the same job as long as both are done right. I’ll try sealant next time
